*Smokin' HOT* Safeway Bounty and Charmin Deal! Through 3/2 Only!

I've been waiting to try this deal all day to make sure it was working before I shared it with you...and it is! You know those Charmin and Bounty $3 P&G eSaver coupons that I posted about earlier? Well, here is a Smokin' HOT Deal to go along with them:

Buy (1) Bounty 15 Double Roll Pack $12.99
Buy (1) Charmin 24 Double Roll Pack $12.99
-$6 instant sale deduction for buying both the Bounty and Charmin
-$3 Bounty P&G eSaver Coupon
-$3 Charmin P&G eSaver Coupon
-.25 Bounty MQ (2/7 PG)
-.25 Charmin MQ (2/7 PG)
=$12.98
You will then get a $10 Catalina Back for spending over $25 on participating P&G Products (total is before $6 sale)
=$2.98 for both the Charmin and Bounty!!! WOW!
*There are now two .50 UPromise eCoupons available to make this deal EVEN better ($1.98 for both)! Go to this post for more informaiton on Upromise eCoupons!

Important Notes: Make sure that your total (before the $9.99 sale price-so the $12.99) price is over $25. These are priced at $11.99 at some areas in the country (again, before the $9.99 promo), so you will need to add another item participating in the P&G promo to get over $25. These were priced at $12.99 at my store, so I didn't need to worry about that.

Did this deal today it's is truly wonderful!! LOL It's working in Pueblo, Colorado...

  2. Anonymous Says:

I want to make sure I do this correctly. My paper says $9.99 each so I am assuming that they are $12.99 before the $6.00. The following equation should work:
    2-Bounty 15 Double Roll
    $6.00-Instant
    $3.00-P&G eSaver Coupon
    (2).25 Bounty MQ
    Total:$15.98
Is this correct and I will get my Catalina, correct?

  3. Anon...Yep! You should be good to go!

  4. Anonymous Says:

Thank you so much, sorry I am so slow!

  5. No, your not slow at all...there is a lot of deal stacking going on for this one! I run scenarios by Alyssa all the time to make sure I'm not forgetting something or messing something up...and she does the same! :)

  6. Oh, by the way you guys...there are also $1 Charmin and Bounty MQs floating around that will make this deal even better. One of them is in the SaveALot book that you may have requested a while back and there is another in the P&G Olympic book (I didn't get this one yet, but Alyssa did).

I have been waiting to see a good deal happen for t-paper. Now, unfortunately, I can't do it. Bummer! Every time I try to go the the P&G esaver site, it says not available. Plus, I have already used the MQ coupons, so I no longer have those either. What a deal that I am missing out on. Hopefully I can catch the next one.

  8. Anonymous Says:

What zip are you using for the pgesaver coupons? I don't have any under 98058

  9. Anonymous Says:

Never mind on the zip, for some reason the site didn't save my safeway info.

    Thanks!

  10. I am putting my zip in and it says no coupons available so i tried a zip for Seattle and one for Portland, OR and same thing. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? TIA!

  11. Cindy,

Did you register your Safeway card?

  12. Yes, I "think" it's registered via the P&G site. Is that correct? When I first tried registering I had problems so I hope it's registered. How do I know for sure?

  13. Go to "My Profile" and then the "Shoppers Card" tab. If your card is registerd it will list it there. If it isn't, you can add it on that page. Also, make sure you are on the pgesaver.com website, and not just the P&G site.

I'm a guy, unemployed...new to all the couponing stuff. On the catalina's, does it print out a $10.00 coupon for more paper towels or for future P&G stuff, does it expire, etc. Thanks for the help

  15. Hi Guy Lost in Coupons!

The $10 Catalina will be off any purchase at Safeway over $10, so if you buy a bag of dog food for $10.50 and use your $10 catalina to pay, you will only pay .50 out of pocket. I do not have my catalina in front of me right now, but they usually expire about 2 weeks from the date they are printed.

    Dear Bargain Blessings,

Thanks for the note. What a deal, I'm off to the store to try my first BIG deal. Keep your fingers crossed!

  17. Great Find! I linked back your post. God Bless!

  18. Jen Says:

Why can I never access these ecoupons? It always says none available for my zip code.

  19. Anonymous Says:

Am I able to buy 2 Bounty or will the $3 ecoupon on ly work for 1?

  20. Jen-See my comments above with Cindy. Did you go thorugh all those steps?

Anon- You can buy (2) Bounty, but it will only deduct 1 eCoupon. It would look like the scenario in the second comment on this post.

  21. Thanks for the help BB. I wasn't completing the registration!

  22. April Says:

I was finally able to access the site. I had to switch to ex instead of fire fox. I'm excited to now head to the store.

  23. Awesome! Let me know how it goes you guys! :)

  24. Cupid Says:

Awesome deal! I was just wondering if there would be some sort of conflict between the UPromise and P&G eSaver coupons. Can I use both on the same items?

  25. Julie Says:

ours didn't work :( we loaded the coupons on our safeway card and according to the website, they were loaded properly but they didn't work at the store...

  26. Cupid...they should not interfer with eachorther.

Julie...go to their help center here: http://www.pgesaver.com/info/Help-Center.aspx
Let them know that your coupons didn't deduct and they should be able to help you out!

  27. Christina Says:

It worked for me in Littleton- with tax, it came to $3.16- what a fantastic deal!!!! Thank you!!!!

  28. Katie Says:

Thanks so much ladies! I did this and then rolled the $10 catalina towards the Mr Clean Febreeze scenario you posted last week, which produced ANOTHER $10 Cat! What a GREAT shopping trip - thank you, thank you, thank you!

  29. Guy Lost In Coupons Says:

    BB....
Went to Safeway, got the catalina from the Bounty and Charmin, turned around and used the $10.00 off my 2nd purchase...Thanks so much!!

  30. Toni Says:

Just did this deal this afternoon- worked perfectly! Paid 9.99 for a Bounty and a Charmin, plus got the $6 P&G e-coupons off, plus used a $10 catalina from last week to pay! Out of pocket- $3.98!!! And got another $10 catalina!

  31. Guy Lost In Coupons Says:

I tried to find the additional HUGGIES coupon at (-(2) $2 IPs HERE), which you have posted and could not find it. What am I missing?

  32. April Says:

How long does it take the esaver coupons to be active on your card? I did mine several hours before using and they were not there. I worked with the manager and he finally gave it to me. I am to take in proof that they were added to my card. I ended with a great shopping trip!

  33. Margaret Says:

I have the same problem with the coupons not loading to my card! I've sent an email to P&G as it's been 4 hours and their FAQ says they should load withing an hour.

  34. Today was my first foray into the couponing world and I started with the P&G/Safeway deal.
My deal wasn't as sweet as some of you because both the towels at tp were $15.99 to start with.

    15.99 card savings 6.00 = 9.99
    15.99 card savings 6.00 = 9.99

    10.00 Catalina coupon = 9.98

I didn't have any other coupons but I shopped in Oregon and there was no tax. I'm bummed that my Safeway seems to be so high compared to others. Is there anything else I could have done/should have done?

  35. Part two to the above post. After reading more of the comments here I am wondering if the coupons I loaded onto my card this AM took. If they take what will the reciept say? It seemed like the loaded today and I was able to print out the shopping list of the coupons that were selected. But now I'm wondering...

  36. Anonymous Says:

The coupons I loaded on the P&G eSaver site didn't work for us- my husband just got home without the $10 in savings from the Charmin, Bounty and Prilosec...darn. I should have had my husband bring confirmation of the loaded coupons, I guess.

  37. Eliza Says:

I tried this last night and had to pay 9.98. i got the 6 e coupons to work...and then got the 10 catalina...not sure why it did not come out the same as yours...I am returning them both tonight!

  38. Alright guys, here is the scoop. I'm guessing that some of your eCoupons did not deduct. It can be confusing since the Safeway promo sale also deducts $3. If your eCoupons did deduct it will say "eCoupon" on your recepit. If it doesn't say "eCoupon" then your total will be around $20...less the $10 catalina. I did the deal twice last night and my eCoupons also did not deduct. I'm not sure why, becuase like some of you mentioned it showed it added to my card on P&G's website.

After talking with the manager (who was very nice) he refunded me a total of $12 for the eCoupons that didn't come off on both transactions. Not all managers will do this, so it might be easier to contact P&G. There were a lot of people out and about doing this deal yesterday as word spread, so the P&G system may have just slowed down a lot.
    Jennie

  39. If your eCoupons did work correctly your total would have been around $14.

  40. Guy Lost In Coupons...it looks like the Huggies coupons many have reached their print limit. Can anyone else find them?

  41. Update: According to Safeway customer service P&G notified them that they were having trouble yesterday becuase of the large amount of people doing this deal. I would suggest not returning your items, but instead bringing in a printout of your added coupons from the P&G eSaver site and seeing if the manager will refund you your $6. Or...try calling before heading out to the store and ask what they suggest.

  42. Cindy Says:

Okay my recient does not say "eCoupon" at all, just "CardSav 6.00" for each item. Darn.

  43. Cindy Says:

I called the Safeway I shopped at yesterday explaining what happened and they told me to call the 877 number for the shopping card. They then connected me to P&G who will be sending me a refund for the coupons. That number is 1-888-818-0540

I think next time I try using the eCoupons I will take one item up and see if it works first. One person I talded to asked if I saw anything that said "coupons ready to redeem" and i don't believe I did. After I made my coupon selections it then asked me if I wanted to print out the list.

  44. Cindy Says:

I think I see what that CS person meant now. I printed out a new shopping list for my selected P&G coupons and compared it to the first list I printed out right after making my coupon choices yesterday morning. On yesterday's list under the product pic it says Offer Status: then it's blank. Today's list says Offer Status: The coupon is ready to be redeemed! So I wonder how long it took for the coupons to be redeemable? Well I am happy they will be reimbursing me for my efforts yesterday and I will be more observant in the future. This is the first time I have tried the eCoupons so I have learned a lot in the last 24 hours!! Thanks everyone!
