This week I made some super quick trips to Walgreens, Safeway, and King Soopers. We will be eating completely out of our stockpile this week, so I just picked up the free and money making items. Here is how I did…

Walgreens: Made $2.19


Safeway: Made .60

King Soopers: Spent .94

Total spent this week: -$1.85

Total for April: $108.21

Total for 2010: $373.63

Breaded Chicken, Pasta, Veggies, Rolls
Enchiladas
Meatloaf, Pasta, Veggies

how did you get the paula deen spices?

I used them as fillers at Walgreens. They were on clearance for .49 each.

Wow that is awesome. At my store they are fairly new items and are $1.99! I don't see us marking them down 75% any time soon :(

Am I correct to assume you made money because the stores you shopped paid you the overages on the coupons (example, you had a coupon for $1 off, the item was on sale for 80 cents and the store paid you 20 cents)?

It is hard to imagine stores near me doing that (I live in Massachusetts – enough said), but if stores near you will actually pay you, I will certainly look into it. I just didn't think stores would do that.
