The ladies at my DG were so confused by the $3/2 Suave coupon. One kept telling me, "but the deodorant is $1.50!" Yes, I know … and $1.50 x 2 = $3.00! But the register wouldn't accept the q, so I didn't buy the items. Will try again later.

Made a special trip to DG – Nivea coupon is for 16.9 oz – DG was 8.4 oz. Werthers $1 coupon is for different type than DG carries- Wags sells for $3.49 in chocolate candy section. DG were out of Gillette for $2. They no longer accept coupons to make the items free -so wouldn't have taken the $4/2 coupon.

Unfortunately this is just another demonstration of a cashier/manager not understanding how coupons work. Regardless of if the product was on sale for $2.01 or $2 each the store will be reimbursed by the manufacturer. Many couponers have been able to use those coupon successfully, so it sounds like it is just a training issue at some stores.
