It still amazes me that shoppers leave coupons, like this one for a completely FREE Simply Truth Protein Energy & Nutrition Bar, behind! What a nice little treat to top of my King Soopers shopping trip.

I never had one left behind but I go to self check-out often and it drives me crazy when I see a bunch of them tossed in the trash, almost want to go through them, (: trash diving:) But I have had a nice random breath right strips full size free.
Found this same exact cat on Saturday that was left behind at my KS too.
Some people don’t like energy/protein bars, so maybe they left it on purpose???? I think that is what I would have done with it.
(I am not a “bar” fan, myself.)
I heard that the King Soopers Employees can get in trouble for using cats that are left behind because they are linked to a different Sooper Card. It’s not worth it for me.
You’re right Emilee. My fave cashier told me that they would get fired if they ever kept abandoned Cats for themselves, or gave them to another customer. They are indeed linked to your Sooper Card, so they are customer specific. I certainly don’t mind picking them up when I can, but I would never hope to get them from a cashier!
Lately it seems like the people working the self check out rip the cats down the middle and toss them away. I’ve watched them do this and it totally breaks my heart.
If an unripped cat wants to “hop” into my coupon cozy, I have absolutely no qualms about it. I like the idea that I’ve saved a coupon from the “island of misfit cats” (aka the trash bin). All they want is to be cherished and used!
