See Me Shop Sunday

couponing-at-king-soopers

I've received a few requests lately to bring back See Me Shop Sunday on Bargain Blessings and although I will not be bringing it back every week, I will try to post more often on what I'm getting at the store!

Today I did some King Soopers shopping and purchased all of the above items for a total of $49.87. I'll also be receiving $3 back from Ibotta, so including that I will have spent $46.87. I saved a total of 49%, which is pretty good considering it was a last minute trip and I broke the cardinal rule of shopping on a budget....I shopped while I was hungry starving. :P

Here is a summary of what I purchased today:

(2) TRESemee Hair Products
*I'll share this deal with you in a bit! :)

(1) Gallon of Milk

(4) Knudsen Sparkling Juice for $1.50 after the coupon

(3) Healthy Choice Frozen Meals
*I didn't have a coupon for these, but they are regularly priced at $1.97 and I think they are really yummy.

(1) 16oz of fresh Atlantic Salmon for $5.99/lb

(1) Tortillas that I plan to turn into homemade tortilla chips to serve with some salsa I want to use up before it goes bad.

(3) Colgate Tootburshes
*Free after coupon!

(4) Colgate Toothpaste
*Free after coupon!

(2) Pillsbury Pie Crust 2pks which were on sale at a pretty good price.

(2) 18ct Eggs
*I have kind of a thing for egg dishes lately. :)

(1) Pint of Blueberries which for $2.99
*A great price for this time of year!

(1) Glad Containers for .19!
*I'll be sharing details of this deal soon!

(1) Kroger Ibuprofen .99
*I hurt my shoulder at volleyball recently and my trainer suggested some Ibuprofen. I cannot believe I don't have any in my stockpile! Sheesh!

(1) Store Brand Chicken Broth
*Another item that my stockpile just ran out of.

(4) Kroger Chopped Spinach
*My favorite!

(1) Green Machine Naked Juice for $2.50
*This was totally a splurge to satisfy my hunger. I've never tried Green Machine though and boy is it delicious!

I had a great shopping trip to Sprouts this weekend! Although the store was more packed than I've ever experienced, they were very well stocked with every single "A" graded item. I was able to snag everything that you see in my cart for just $17.09. Considering that the Olive Oil, Cheese and Orange Juice are usually quite expensive I'm very happy with this trip.

Where did you shop this week? How did you do?

I know many of you are enjoying spring break with your families....and I hope you've had a wonderful weekend! I decided to take a little "spring break" from blogging for the past two days in effort to restore some much needed balance in my life. I've spent my time cleaning the house, baking, playing some volleyball, at the Spa (thanks Weeky Plus) and catching up with friends. :) Thanks for patiently waiting for this week's Walgreens, Rite Aid, Target, and CVS match-ups. I hope to have most of them posted by this evening.

It also has been way too long since I've put up a See Me Shop Sunday post, so I thought it was about time! This week I shopped only at King Soopers and while it wasn't a record breaking trip by any means...I'm still quite happy with it. I spent a total of $28.65 and saved 75%. That does include a few "luxury" items like my favorite cheese from the deli and some apples that I paid way to much for, but we all need a few of those items here and there...don't we? ;)

Spring break blessings to each of you and your famliles! I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things with lots of new deals and some fun giveaways next week!

I took it pretty easy this week and only shopped at King Soopers. I wasn't overly impressed with most of the other stores. I did the mega-event sale three times and also picked up a few other items. In the end I only spent $16.23 for everything pictured above which I am quite happy with!

I also wanted to update you all that I have decided to take a break from the consistent weekly See Me Shop Sunday posts. I will still definitely be sharing every once in a while, but just not every week. ;) I hope you will all still continue to send me your shopping successes...I love sharing them!

Total spent this week: $16.23

Total for November: $16.23

Total for 2010 (on groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies!): $1018.57

I actually had to take three pictures of everything I got this week because it wouldn't all fit on my kitchen counter! Here is how I did by store:

Albertsons:I took a risk this week by taking an hour preparing and driving to an Albertsons that wasn't anywhere near my house. I didn't want to go to the store that I normally shop at because I know that I have a lot of readers that shop there and I really wanted some of that free vanilla. Well, I was very glad that I took the risk becuase it totally paid off. The store that I went to had TONS of stock and they didn't give me any trouble with doubling my coupons...which I was very thankful for. I spent a total of $2.47 on tons of Chex Mix, Gardettos, Cookie Mixes and Vanilla!

Sprouts:Sprouts has some great deals this week. I was able to snag 2lbs of blueberry granola, 2 loaves of bread, 3lbs of Colby Jack Cheese, 2.5lbs of Asparagus, 2 containers of Campari Tomatoes, a package of three romaine hearts, and a big bag of Gala Apples for $15.10!

Safeway:I picked up some Cheerios, Tortillas, Ritz Crackers, Pillsbury Sweet Moments, Finish Quantumatic kits, and Nivea Lip Care for a grand total of .46! Yay!

King Soopers:I did their mega event once and was able to get 2 CPK Pizzas, two Simply Juices, 6 Coffee Mates, Sour cream, 2 packages of Pepper Jack cheese, green onions bacon, and two VERY expensive portabella mushrooms ($6.14 ugh!) for a total of $24.83.

Rite Aid:I stocked up on all of this week's freebies and once I get my Single Check Rebates back I will have made $21.24! WhoooHoo! Not only that...but I am stocked with lots of great products for cold and flu season!

This week's dinner menu includes: Baked Potato Soup, Whole Checken,  Mahi Mahi, Portablla Mushrooms/Asparagus/Pepper Jack Cheese dish, and Pizza.

Total spent this week: $21.62

Total for October: $63.75

Total for 2010 (on groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies!): $917.20

Safeway: I bought a gallon of milk, two jars of Barilla pasta and two boxes of barilla rigatoni for a total of $2.98 including the $1 catalina I received.

Target: I stocked up on ten bottles of the Motts Apple Juice and snaged four free kraft string cheeses. I spent a total of $7.46.

King Soopers: I spent a total of $6.63 on an 18ct package of eggs, three leeks, a loaf of bread, and ten packages of Kraft Cream Cheese.

Albertsons: Who stole all my vanilla?!? ;) I realized once I got to the store on Saturday that I was crazy to think I had even a chance of getting in on the vanilla deal since it had already been three days since I posted it! So...I snaged a .02 (after tax) bottle of Sun dish soap.

Rite Aid: I got in on all of their awesome freebies this week and will have made $16.50 after I get my single check rebates back! WhoooHoo!

This week's dinner menu includes: Butternut and Apple Harvest Soup, Baked Potato Soup, Whole Checken, Chicken Pot Pie, MahiMahi and stuffed clams.

Total spent this week: .59

Total for October: $42.13

Total for 2010 (on groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies): $895.58

Safeway: $6.82

King Soopers: $23.78*I had to go back to buy some ketchup! ;)

Sunflower Market: $.94

I also had the pleasure of going to a Farmer's Market with my friend Beth today. She has been telling me about it all summer, but it wasn't until today that I made the time to actually go. Once again, I'm sorry I waited! I was able to get everything in the picture above for $10!!! Yes, $10! Those little plastic bags in the picture are roasted chilies! In my mind, those alone were worth $10! The only times that I've gone to farmer's markets before they were over priced and I left disappointed. I learned today that you just have to hit them at the right time to get some major bargains.

This week's dinner menu includes: Mahi Mahi, Whole Chicken, Meatloaf , Chicken Pot Pie and Steak!

Total spent this week: $41.54

Total for October: $41.54

Total for 2010 (on groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies): $894.99

Sprouts: I stocked up on Chicken Breast again and also picked up som yummy acorn squash for $16.55 total.

Sunflower Market: I picked up 5 Grapefruit, and re-stocked on their 93% lean ground beef! I spent a total of $28.84.

King Soopers: I picked up just a few items without coupons and spent a total of $5.63

Safeway: Safeway was by far my favorite store this week! I did the Scrubbing Bubbles and Heft scenario four times and am thrilled to be stocked up on trash bags now! I also got in on the Pillsbury and Ore-Ida as well as picked up a few other items. The incredible part is that I only spent a total of .24 after it was all said in done. This should have been $5.24, but the cashier double enterred one of my $5 catalinas and refused to take it off even after she noticed it. Bonus! :)

This week's dinner menu includes: Mahi Mahi, Stuffed Parmesan Spinach Chicken, Meatloaf, and Shepard's Pie.

Total spent this week: $51.26

Total for September: $205.87

Total for 2010 (on groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies): $904.71
