Keep in mind that to price match at Target you will need to stop by the customer service desk. In this week’s Target ad there is a sale on select Value Pack Oral Care items that includes a $5 Target gift card when you buy one. Now when I first saw this, I thought it might have been a misprint, so I didn’t include it in this week’s Target match-ups. However, reader Leah reported that although it as marked as a free $5 Target gift card on when you purchase THREE (rather than one) items on the shelf, her store told her that the shelf was wrong and the ad is correct.
I’m also hearing that there is an update rolling through the registers that should correct the issues and cause the $5 gift card to trigger after purchasing just one product. We don’t really know how quickly this update will be rolled out to all stores, but hopefully it will take care of the gift card and prevent extra trips to the customer service desk. Regardless, I suggest having the ad on hand just in case.
