Christmas is officially less than 100 days away. Can you believe it?

Unfortunately the "most wonderful time of the year" can sometimes turn into the most "stressful", "crazy", and "hectic" time of the year for many. My hope is that this year we can work together to hold each other accountable to spending just a little time each week to help make the holiday season more enjoyable. By taking these steps now, once the month of December rolls around we should all be able to relax and enjoy the time with family and friends.

So that is my challenge to you...join me on this "Countdown to Christmas" journey and let's have some fun in the proces! Instead of waiting until the last minute to blow through a mile long to-do list, lets start now and do it together little-by-little.

If you would like to take me up on this challenge just leave a comment telling me you're ready to go! If there are any holiday time to-do items on your list that you want to make sure we cover make sure to mention them in your comment too!

I don’t know if you’ve seen this site: http://christmas.organizedhome.com/.

But I love it and I follow a loose version of their schedule each year. It takes so much pressure off and really helps me enjoy Christmas with the kids.

I take heart that it is only 465 days until Christmas 2011. I am trying to be ready for THAT day!

Thanks for the reminder. Let’s hope there are some good bargains this year to be found.

I hope that this will help me be more organized this holiday season. I want to make homemade gifts for my friends and neighbors this year, send out Christmas cards this year, and organize my Christmas supplies.

i started couponing this year and it has helped me to save in gift giving as well. my husband and i come from large families with lots of little kids so my gift list is ridiculous! i’m definitely ready for any help this holiday season and i know tackling it a week or maybe even a day at a time will make my dollar go a long way.

Count me in! I Christmas shop year round and already have quite a few gifts stashed away for the kids in our family. In my business I encourage people to shop early, shop online and shop through me so they don’t have to fight the crowds.

Sounds good to me. My main goal is to get my shopping done early. Plus, not to mention, we will be moving in January, so trying to decide how to handle the Christmas decorating this year.

I’m SO in. Thanks to Bargain Blessings, I’m WAY further that I have ever been. I would love the support to make this a less stressful holiday season. I love Jessica’s idea of freezing meals ahead of time! The Dealin Divas, http://www.dealindivas.blogspot.com) will definitely be joining the count down!

I love christmas and celebrating the reason for the season. These days it is so easy to get caught up in the chaos of the season and lose focus on the real reason. I’m ready to save, stay on budget and celebrate!

Only 100 days? Yikes! I’ve put some toys away for the kids, but would love to find some good bargains for the rest of the family. Also, I would love to have some meals frozen ahead of time to make that week less stressful.

It is funny how every year I tell myself that I am going to start getting ready for Christmas sooner than the last and it never seems to work out. Maybe with a little help from my “friends” we can all do it together! I am with you!
