Need a little motivation to get out and participate in the King Soopers (Kroger) Mega Event this week? Check out the details on this awesome shopping trip that reader Elizabeth had!

I thought I'd share my deals I got thanks to your site! I bought 52 items, saved 68% and paid $40.91. And to top it off I got $16 in Catalinas back! The Crystal Lights were one of my personal price deals and they were $1.89 each and then the $5 Catalina on top of that. And a huge thanks to Hazel for mentioning the laundry detergent store coupon cause I've got tons of this detergent but now I have even more to donate. They ended up being $1.12 each. The Diet Pepsi 2 liters were free, as were the mustards  and also the floss (of course).

Wowie! Way to go Elizabeth and thanks for the added motivation for all of us! :) I just posted the King Soopers deals that will be starting on January 30th, so make sure to check them all out!

For anyone who may have missed the clearance sale on
Kroger Spiral Hams for 99cents a pound…they are still
available in some Arvada King Soopers as of Tues. evening.
They freeze well.

Was this in Colorado? On another web-site someone from Castel Rock did not git the catalina on the jello.

If it helps at all I received the Catalina at the King Soopers on Belleview and Kipling in Littleton. If you are in CO and don’t get it you should contact the Catalina Marketing company and at least have them review your receipt in case you were supposed to get it. http://support.catalinamarketing.com/ In the past when I’ve not gotten Cats I expected I’ve submitted my info online and they’ve sent me the missed Cats.

Hi Billie, yes this was in Parker at Stroh. The Crystal Light was buy 5 get $5. I drink these all the time so I jumped at this chance :) I could have sworn it was Hazel but I’m thankful none the less to whoever it was that commented about the laundry coupon. I can’t wait to go back and use the Catalinas on more stuff.

can you tell me more about the crystal light deal /catalina? Also I’ve been buying kleenex and getting a $2 catalina instead of a $3 catalina. Is anyone else having problems with that -bought 7 boxes.

I think the Kleenex was a buy 6 boxes and get $1.50 catalina, buy 7 boxes and get $2.00 catalina….dont think there was a $3.00 catalina option.

Way to go Elizabeth, that’s super! Wish I could say I was the one that mentioned the laundry soap, drats, I wasn’t. So to the sharer of the sudsy savings, many thanks for bringing that one to light so there could be such a great donate-able!

I spy German Chocolate Jell-O! I didn’t pick that one up because it said temptation all over the package! I love German Chocolate anything :)

Congrats! On my trip today, I was sad to see that I only saved 49%. I did get one $2 coupon for future use (I can’t remember if that’s a catalina?), so that would bring my savings to just over 50%… but it just seemed like it should have been more, with those great prices. 68% can be a goal, though!
