Not sure if this was just a weekend thing but there was a $2.00 off in-ad coupon for McCormick spices.

My CFF needed some of the more pricey spiceys and was able to work a sweet deal using the .75/1 coupon stacked with the store coupon. Those are on B2G1. She was so stoked that she went back for some other spices and on that trip was told that Safeway won’t allow you to stack a store Q with a MQ. But we know better :)

I just spoke with her and she went this morning to the Safeway in CR and got 2 Anise Seed and 1 Fennel for $3.19 (or $3.69 … something like that.) She’s going back for more … she’s jazzed about working a deal on Anise Oil.

Sorry I don’t have full specs on what she nabbed. Let’s face it, my idea of fine dining is when I actually put the Beef-A-Roni in a real bowl. So, I just didn’t pay that much attention. All I know is she cooks, a lot, and she is now Happy Spice!

(spice, spice baby!)

Safeway will double the 0.75 cent coupon to a $1

Question – How are the spices free if they are 99cents each when you purchase 3 and use three 75cent coupons from either insert. Mahalo

Each 75 cent off one doubles to 99 cents making each of the items free with each coupon.

Most of the Safeway’s in Colorado (where Jennie is located) double coupons up to $1. Since the spices are .99 when you buy 3, the coupons will double to .99 making them free. Hope that helps. :)

Safeway will double up to a dollar. So a .50 cent coupon will be 1 dollar and .75 will be 1 dollar

Kekoa-Safeway doubles coupons up to .50 and anything above .50, gets matched to equal $1. So when you use the .75 coupon, they match that with .25, to make it $1, making the spices FREE! :-)

Tell her a purchase is one item, almost all coupons say that! (sigh) Glad you got your stuff!

Thank you Hazel and Bargain Blessings!! I stopped a& picked up 3 on my way home from work tonight. When I got up to the register, smooth sailing until I handed over my MQ. Cashier scanned 1 then announced that she couldn’t take the other 2 q’s because it says ” 1 per purchase.” I then told her that I had 2 purchases there. I told her that I would take me q’s back and she could keep the spices. She said she would try the q’s, but (with puppy dog eyes) “We won’t get our money back on them.” I said that “yes” they would get their $ back from the manufacturer. I still got my spices. How misinformed some cashiers are :(
