Comments

  1. Britt says

Right now they have Milo’s Kitchen treats for dogs for $2.49 a piece. There is also a coupon, I think in a recent SS, that is for $2.50 making it free. Plus when you buy more than one you will get a $1 towards your next store purchase.

    Buy (2) Get $1
    Buy (3-4) Get $2
    Buy (5+) Get $3

So they are basically paying you to take em.

If you don’t have a dog, I reccomend taking these freebies to the humane society. Most humane societies will take these kind of things as donations. ^_^

    • Kristin L. says

Thanks Britt…we don’t have a dog, but we do volunteer to walk the dogs and clean out cat cages on weekends at PetSmart, so we’ll take them w/ us when we go and give them to the ECC volunteer.

  2. Lisa says

I’ve tried the Silk Eggnog. It’s not bad for a healthier alternative. It’s thinner and the flavor is not as strong but it’s still pretty good. My kids don’t like it as much as the regular but will drink it.

  3. JoAnn says

The Silk Nog tastes ok if you want egg nog but can’t handle the milk in regular egg nog. Sometimes though I tough it out and do the real thing.

Also, Albertsons has their brand of 8oz cream cheese for $1.

  4. beth says

The King Soopers at 80th and Wadsworth is having a grand opening…lots of good sales!
    Gallon Milk 1.49
    16oz cheese 2/5
    18 ct. large eggs 1.29

  5. Jamie says

Im sure many have figured this out but you can get 49 cent I cant believe its not butter with the 1 dollar off coupon and the mega event! What a steal!

  6. Hazel says

Castle Pines location has Kikkoman Panko Bread Crumbs for 1.59 for an 8oz box – regularly priced @ 1.79

There were 1/1 coupons in the MDA booklet bringing these down to .59 a box

There’s also a catalina dealie that if you buy 2 or more boxes between 11-7 and 11-23 you get a .75 cat

But, I think the catalina machine was asleep this morning because there were no cats spitting out on any of my cat dealies so I’m going to be contacting the catalina crew.

    Hmmmm, cat-nap!

  7. Anon Longmont says

Hey Jennie – FYI I do NOT know what this fold out coupon thing is called! I picked up a bunch at King Soops awhile back. They are orange, have coupons expiring at the end of the year 12/31/2011 for such things as Glad, Post, Dannon, Pop Secret. Anyway it has 1.00 off four of the Campbells Cream Chick/Mushroom cans! I stocked up for winter in a major way with the mega. Thanks for everything you do to get us great deals!

  8. Hazel says

Yanno, I’m really happy with KS the past few weeks. I just sent them an email and thanked them. I’m sure they don’t get that much of that but they’ve enabled me to do some really warm & fuzzy things (that are legal) this season.

Thank you too, Jennie … I don’t think I say it enough!

Later – off to cast my daily vote for Number 1!

    • Hazel says

Another vote has been cast. Keep it up Bargaineers with Blessings!

(and yes, a big thank you to the Lord above for making my warm fuzzies a reality!)

  9. Hazel says

Okay I caved and bought the Blue Bell Spiced Pumpkin Pecan ice cream. There really ought to be a law against that kind of thing. I’m elated & sated – heading towards deflated.

If any of you see it and are debating, be very afraid of what lurks in that thar container. I’m not a big ice cream eater but that stuff is, yeah, a plethora of pleasing punkiness!

    Is it nappy hour yet?

  10. Karri says

Was wondering if the Huggies catalinas are still in effect this week? I see from last weeks post that one runs through the end of November, but I was wondering about the second catalina promotion. Thanks for your help!

      • Melissa K says

I called Cataline today & they said the $5 off if you spend $20 ended on 11/10, but maybe that date is just specific to my store (in Littleton on Ken Caryl & Simms).

        • Tracey says

Thanks Melissa. I have seen many people discussing this and that they didn’t get the $5. Every source I saw stated 11/16. Now they say 11/10. I am sure that they figured out they were stacked catalinas and pulled the first one back. Happy for the early birds that got a great deal! That unfortunately would not be me :).

  11. Cassa says

I just went shopping tonight and saved $97 doing the mega 10 event!!!! That was 70% savings on groceries! I am super excited. Thanks Jennie!

  12. Megan says

Does anyone know if this is an event where you get $5 off for every 10 items you buy (ie $5 off for 10 items, $10 off for 20 items, etc) or just $5 once you reach 10? I’m trying to determine if I need to do multiple transactions.

          • Sarah says

You will save $10. I have bought up to 40 items during a mega event before and saved $20. I have seen disclaimers on some mega events such as “up to 3 rewards per transaction” (or something like that), but I haven’t seen this on any of the ads in awhile. It may depend on your store…

            • Lori says

Thanks!…that’s what I have done in the past- but I found the above post about needing to do multiple transactions a bit confusing. I am glad I don’t hve to do 4 different transactions of 10 each to get the savings of 4 mega events……..with all the policy changes lately it is hard to know what will fly and what won’t..

  13. Kathy says

I got hosed the last time I was in the store. There policy is hard and half my coupons did not double and I finally figured out why it was because she scanned them before she scanned my shoppers card. Totally missed out on like $4 in savings but didn’t notice until I got home. Also the Kotex didn’t get 2 $2 cats only the $3 so not as a good a deal even though I had different items. Super bummed.

    • says

@Kathy Just stop by the customer service counter with your receipt to get your doubles money and you can contact catalina for your coupons from them. :)

  14. Rebecca says

Ok I need some help understanding the KS coupon policy I guess… today I went shopping bought a bunch of stuff as part of the Mega Event… including the I Can’t Believe Its Not Butter. I 3 ICBINBs and used 3 coupons… 1 for $1 off 1… another for $1.50 off 2… and a 3rd for Free Bread if you buy 2 … well the checker said I couldn’t use the $1.50 off 2… can anyone explain why… I know at Publix (where I use to live that was acceptable)… I ask the checker and she couldn’t explain just said they can’t take it unless I buy 2 more butters

    • says

Rebecca~ It is going to depend on your store for this one unfortunately. Some will allow you to use all three and some will only allow you to use the $1 and $1.50/2. It really comes down to how the Free Bread coupon coded. Since ICBINB is paying for the free bread, I am guessing they did not intend for it to be stacked with their other coupons, but that is only my opinion.

    • Jessica says

Weird… I did the exact same scenario at my Kings in Littleton and had no problem. Might just be my store, as I also got paid a $1 for a 4pack of activia (Had a free coupon offer from Kings, and a $1/1 MQ).

  15. Edna Lee says

There is a coupon on coupons.com for Tone Body Wash (1.50/2); which would make the Tone Body Wash; 1.94 ea; so I was thinking this is a good price for Tone; but would love to hear from others if it is worth purchasing or not.

  16. Edna Lee says

Does anyone know if King Soopers will give me a raincheck on the smartwater at the mega event price of 0.49. Everytime I go to King Soopers the shelves are completely empty; I have been to three locations.

    • Mommy Kane says

They will give a raincheck for anything in thier ads. I actually had a lady that was stocking shelves today tell me if it was on special, regardless of being in the ad they would raincheck it. It probably depends on your store, but as long as it is in the ad they should give you a raincheck. I think KS’s are good for one month.

  17. Mommy Kane says

Thanks Jennie for getting this up so early today! The Almond Breeze 1/2 gal in the fridge case should still be part of the mega event. My store has them at $1.99 after the mega event savings and there were blinkies near it for .55 off one.
