KS in Monument has quite a few legos in the Christmas clearance, mostly star wars but some City ones (dump truck, garbage truck, police and fire), on sale at 50% off for about $5-15. I went for milk and few other things and came home with birthday presents for at least the next year.

    Krave – $1.94

Near East Couscous Mix 5.8oz starting at .74 B+
The ones in my store were $1.29. If anyone finds which are $.74 I’d love to know!

    • Amy says

So great to have these prices for planning my shopping trip! Thanks much for the heads up :) Hoping my store will have some .74 Couscous as well but we shall see…

    • Hazel says

At the Castle Pines store, they had a display with plastic bowls. I think (?) it was buy 2 boxes of Kelloggs cereal and get a free bowl. The bowls were super cute, had 4 different characters to choose from. Tony the Tiger, Snap Crackle & Pop, Tucan Sam and oh jeepers what was the 4th? Gads, hate when that happens.

Odd thing is that this display was NOT in the cereal aisle but sort of end cap a few aisles down.

I didn’t have my Kelloggs Qs with me so I didn’t do the deal but I plan on going there tonight and seeing what’s up.

  3. Hazel says

I saw honkin’ bottles of Axe Body Wash at the KS in Castle Pines, I don’t remember the exact price but it was less than $4.00. It was on on end cap in that section but could have been in the regular section, too. I was in a hurry so didn’t check on other items.

Last year, their were total screamer deals on Axe at both Soopers and Safeway so if that $3.50 Q can’t be worked at Walgreens, shop it around at either of these stores.

But, be careful with that Axe, Eugene. (Sorry, had to)

  4. Dina says

There is currently a B2G1 DiGiorno Pizza coupon on Also, there is a catalina where if you buy 4 pizzas you get $3.00 off your next order. So if you used 1 $1 coupon and the B2G1 coupon and the cat they end up being $2.75 each.
If you buy 3 you get $2 and if you buy 2 you get $1. So it seems like the best deal is to buy 3. They’d be $2.67 each if my math is right. :) The cat runs through 12/30. Details are on

    • Amy says

Sad day :( Thanks for letting us know so we can update the post! Maybe we’ll get another coupon deal soon (*fingers crossed*)

    • Amy says

I haven’t tried these either Faith! Can anyone (ahem, Hazel lol) give us an idea of what to expect from Hormel Compleats? Thanks!

      • Hazel says

Well, it’s like a frozen dinner but not frozen or ‘fridgerated, just sits on the shelf and waits for you to wave it. They all seem to have the same underlying flavor, it must be a Hormel thing. It’s not in their chili tho so I can’t put my finger on it. It might be the flavor of the preservative for shelf sitting? The noodles aren’t like normal noodles, I have no idea what they are so the most recent ones I’ve bought haven’t had noodles, but they still have that “taste”.

What’s funny is that years ago Hormel used to put out something that was Scalloped Taters and Ham – I loved it. That was way back in the (coughcough) early 90s. Wasn’t called a Compleat at that point.

But then, I’m such an extreme gourmand, my idea of fine dining is a foot long corn dawgie or a can of Beef-A-Roni.

        • Amy says

Thanks for the description Hazel! I don’t know that it makes me want to run out and eat a ton of them lol but I am sure lots of people like them so if nothing else it’s still a great thing to donate! Ooooo Corn Dogs :)

          • Hazel says

Yanno, they’ve been around for quite some time so people must like them. I’m just not one of them :)

I’d try them every few months or so to see if there had been any changes, but always wound up bringing them to work and giving them away.

  5. Hazel says

Hormel Compleats 7.5-10oz starting at .99
-$1 Hormel Compleats Coupon (sign-up required)
    =FREE! A

I’m seeing printables over on coupons dot com for $1.00/1 … I was putzing around under zipper 60106 but it may be under other ones, too. I find these things to be discrusting but other people like ’em just fine. But at free, they will be great for a straight donate.

    • Sue says

Just made a trip to my local King Soopers in Arvada. The Hormel Compleats
were $1.49 AFTER 50% off which would make them .49 after my coupon. I have
LOTS OF COUPONS for these & was planning on donating them to the Arvada
Food Bank. Are some King Soopers selling them for less? The aisle was
filled with emloyees re-stocking so I wasn’t able to check for other varieties that might be FREE with my coupons.

      • Hazel says

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be hitting the Castle Pines location either tonight or tomorrow morning and will eyeball the shelves compleatly :)

      • Amy says

Thanks Hazel and Sue! We always love to hear about how our readers are blessing others with the deals they find! I hope more of you can score the FREE ones too!

        • Sue says

Time is running short on this sale for the Hormel Compleats &
I have tried several stores. The price is the same…$1.49.
I have so many coupons to use (11-11 SS $1/1) & the .49
each is too much out of pocket for me to donate in quantity.
HAS ANYONE FOUND THEM FOR 99 cents?
