Quick Tips: King Soopers doubles coupons up to $1, so if you have a .40 coupon it will double to .80. A .75 coupon will double to $1, and a .25 coupon will double to .50! Remember that eCoupons do not double. King Soopers is no longer giving a .05 per bag credit.

You have made it impossible for me to shop at your store. I have no idea how to use your digital coupons. I like to shop bargains, but this is too much for me to comprehend. I guess you can’t teach old dogs new tricks. I’m 74. It was nice knowing you.

Hi Delores. I had the same thought that the switch to solely digital coupons for this sale would be difficult for those that don’t regularly use their digital coupons. I wrote this in hope that it would help you and others. I would really like to think that an old dog could learn new tricks.

Step 1. Go to: http://www.kingsoopers.com
Step 2. In the upper left hand corner click on Create Account. You can skip this step if you already have a King Soopers online account.
It will ask you for your email address and to enter a password. You will need to enter your card number or your alternate ID (typically your phone number). You will enter your last name and your zip code. You then enter a zip code for your preferred store.
Step 3. From the King Soopers main page scroll down until you see where it states Your Special Deals. There are 2 tabs. The white one says Weekly Ad and is what initially shows up. You’ll need to click on the orange tab to get to the Daytona Coupons. (It shows up orange for me but might be more red depending on your monitor).
Step 4. Click on the orange “Daytona Coupons” tab. Then click on the orange “Get Started” button. It will bring up a page where across the top you have the options of Home, Savings, Shopping List and Program Details. The same options are along the bottom but are listed as orange buttons stating “Get Started”, “Save Now” and “Learn More”.
Step 5. Click on either the Savings link or the orange “Save Now” button. It will open the page that shows all the available digital coupons.
Step 6. If you are not signed in you will see the buttons that say “Sign in to Load”. In that case clicking on any of those buttons will bring you to the sign in page. Once you sign in it will bring you back to the coupon selection page. If you are already signed in then you can click the orange button that says “Load to Card” for whichever coupons you are interested in.

The coupons should then be available for your next shopping trip. If you have any trouble with them coming off you can talk to customer service. In my experience they have been good about assisting in cases when a coupon had been loaded to my card but for some reason did not get applied to my order.

Target has a better deal on Dannon Activia right now. Using a Target coupon and two MQs two4 packs are free. Love freebies!

This may be a silly question, but if I have a coupon that expires today (2/18), can I still use it today? Or is it only good until 2/17? I would think that it isn’t good today, but I just thought I would check before I passed up free toothpaste and really cheap toothbrushes.

Reply

7 Crystal February 18, 2012 at 3:20 PM

You can use it through today. Tomorrow it is no good! :) Hope that helps.

8 Jennie February 21, 2012 at 3:34 PM

Sorry for the late response Krista. Yes you can still use it on the day it expires. :)

9 Krista February 18, 2012 at 1:06 PM

This might be a silly question, but if I have a coupon that expires today, does that mean I can use it through today (2/18/12) or that it was only good up until yesterday (2/17/12)?

Will the free items were earned in the game count towards our 10 item total?

Reply

11 Crystal February 18, 2012 at 3:24 PM

I tried applying my free items to my Daytona 500 and it did not work. However, I think it did not work b/c one of my free items was the 15oz butter which was NOT on the sale ( the 40 or 46 oz is) but it was with the butters on the sale. Total mistake on my part but the manager ( LOVE THIS ONE!) gave me $3 instead of the $5 savings b/c she said that whole free game thing is misleading with this sale. :)

Doncha hate when you’re typing something and it gets Wonka’d? Pardon me if this post appears twice.

I trolled for close-out tags last night and saw Huggies Natural Care Wipes / 56 ct @ $1.19. There was another variety, I think @ .93, but I couldn’t figure out what it was and the shelf was bare.

The database shows $0.50/1 Huggies Baby Wipes, exp. 3/10/12 (SS 02/12/12 R)
but the only coupon I have is $.50/2 making them $.69 a pack. Good deal or no?

This was at the store in Castle Pines – hopefully it will be at other stores :)

Some kraft barbecue sause has peelie coupons on them that are for $2.00 off on one country time or kool-aid drink mix when you buy two bottles of kraft barbecue sause.

I found the country time for .99 and the the BBQ was .69 cents each. After coupon saving you get all 3 items for .37 cents.

Poopers, no peelies at Castle Pines. I may have to mozey on over to Safeway and kanoodle with their Kraft.

I found some free Redbox Rental offers on a few of my Totino’s pizza boxes. They are marked on the outside. My store was really picked over; I only found them on the pepperoni flavor. Looks like it is going to be pizza and movie night tomorrow night!

A bunch of the Lady Speed Stick at my store were marked down 1.44 ea on clearance. There was a BOGO coupon in the past couple of weeks so I was able to score some pretty cheap. I didn’t check to see if the men’s was on the same sale.

The Pillsbury Ready to Bake Valentines cookies were on clearance at my store for .79 cents. Also, check out the Valentines aisle for some clearance candy and stuff!

Totino’s pizza rolls are also part of this sale, even though it is not in the sales flyer. I got some this morning but not really that great a price. It’s the 15ct box, $1.69- .30 – .20 = $1.19 then use $0.40/2 coupon making them $0.79 a box.

Also keep an eye out for Glade Premium Spray for Springtime on clearance $1.59 and use $0.55 coupon from last Sunday SS making them 59 cents a can.

In addition to certain flavors of the Knorr Rice & Pasta pouches being on close out @ .50 or .60, there are oodles of other rice items on close out.

The Minute Rice ready to serve thingies are $1.19 so using the .50/1 coupon you get them for .19 – the varieties were Chicken & Spanish.

They also had Uncle Bens, Zatarains, Near East and some other brand that got blown out of my brain by a sneeze on close out.

This is at the Soopers in Castle Pines so your store may or may not have these close out rice.
