I have a question on those Driscoll’s printable coupons… every time I try to use them, I’m told that I already have a Driscoll’s account. Problem is, I never get coupons anymore from Driscoll’s. Are they only ever available to brand new subscribers? If so, that seems like a really discouraging policy if it doesn’t reward existing customers at all. Any thoughts on this?

  2. says

I bought two brawny paper towel rolls and it prompted the free 20oz Coca-Cola product catalina as well. So 18 cents for 2 rolls and a free Coke for tomorrow. Also TONS of Clairol haircolor for under 3 bucks. I have been getting boxes of Clairol Perfect 10 for under a buck. Lots of vitamins on clearance as well. Nature’s Bounty Fish Oil (100ct) marked down to $5.49. Lots of deals like this on vitamins.

  3. Hazel says

That there Mars coupon from Sunday will lay free Snickers eggs!

It’s a buck off 2 and the Snickers egg singles are 2 for a buck.

Castle Pines didn’t carry them but Castle Rock did.

And bawka bawka one of my favorite commercials is back. It’s Cadbury Easter Bunny Try Out time! Bawka, Bawka, Bawka! Dangy dern that commercial makes me cackle :)

    • HighPlainsMom says

We must have been separated at birth Hazel — the Cadbury’s egg commercials are hilarious! It almost makes me want to add a pet rabbit to the menagerie……almost!

My all-time FAVE candy ad though (and I’m snowing my age here) is the M&Ms add with all the little kids saying “Thank you Easter Bunny!” and the little kids at the end dressed like a chicken and an egg….and one of them says, “Bawk, Bawk!” Too cute!

(if y’all aren’t old like me, check it out on You Tube!)

      • Hazel says

LOLOL … Oh gosh I have noooooo idea what you’re talking about (wink)

        Bawk Bawk!

Now, if Norelco would just bring back Santa sledding down the hill on one of those old electric razors, I’d be set!

  4. HighPlainsMom says

Regarding the Daily Deal ecoupon from yesterday – Buy 2 (2L) Pepsi and get one free…..when I used that it appears to kick in a catalina for one free liter of Coke products.

Also, most of the Tide products in my store had little hangtags with a free sample of the new Tide Pods…..but I’m sure they won’t last!

  5. Robin says

The Chex Mix are $2 and there plenty of printables out there to get these for $1 after coupon and then wyb 5 you will receive a $3 cactalina on your next purchase. So $.40 each after catalina.

  6. says

there is also quite a few ecoupons on the KS site that match up this week. Including a .75/1 Ruffles and .75/1 tostitos tortilla chips.

  7. Mindy says

I’m soooooo sad. I didn’t get any moments to save coupons. Can anyone spare any? I was so excited to get lays and pepsi for cheap, since it’s all we live on around here :) .

    • Jessica says

Mindy, I have a ton, as there was a huge stack in my paper. If you’re in HR, just email me and I’ll put some on my porch for you bleuroze at aol dot com

      • Mindy says

Jessica thank u sooooo much but sadly, I’m pretty far from HR :(. I appreciate u trying to help! Is it possible to mail them to me? Fingers crossed that there will be another good deal before the coupons expire

  8. Hazel says

They’ve got 2 Liter bottles of Dr. Pepper @ 5/$5.55 … anyone know what happens if you buy 6 – will that there 6th one be @ $1.11, too?

I’m looking to use my BOGO coupons on them but don’t want the 6th to be regular price.

    Thanks much!

      • Mommy Kane says

Yea I have noticed, most of the time at KS when they advertise a sale with 5/$5 or something of the like, usually you can get any number for the sale price. I think it is a marketing tactic, to make people think they need to buy more than they need. :) Many times it will say, ‘Must buy X’ if there are specifics.
So wish they would bring back the Berries n Cream Dr. Pepper, that was my fav. The only soda I ever really drank.

    • HighPlainsMom says

I’ve noticed at Kings that the only time you really have to do the “Buy this to Get this Savings” gizmo is when it is one of the cashback deals — as in Buy 10 – Save $5.

Otherwise, it’s as Mommy Kane says….a marketing tactic to encourage you to buy more.

    • Hazel says

Coolio beanage HurriKane and HPM Carmen Lola :)

Marketing Schmarketing, blech. Thanks to Bargain Blessings we can all dance the dance of 1000 loopholes and Merengue our way around their Marketing.

Isn’t it great to have such a great base of people to bounce ideas off of and “dance” with?

    • Hazel says

Same here – only the $1 off 2

Was happy to get an envelope from Iowa today that had the $.55 off 1 coupons

  9. Paige says

I didn’t get a $3 catalina for the fiber one bars. Bought three, used 1 $.40/1 coupon and 1 $.50/2 coupon, and I only got a $1 catalina.

  10. Hazel says

New York Original Texas Toast Croutons on sale 2/$3

$0.40/1 New York Original Texas Toast Croutons, exp. 3/25/12 (SS 01/29/12 R)

Brings ’em down to $.70 a package

  11. Robin says

At my store in Thornton there was a coupon on the Ruffles for a free 2 liter of Pepsi Max wyb 2 bags of Ruffles. And I only received a $1 catalina when I bought 3 boxes of Fiber One Bars.

  12. HighPlainsMom says

Oh — and the Family Size Rice R Roni packages are on closeout for 1.49 each – I guess they aren’t going to carry them anymore.

  13. HighPlainsMom says

I got a $3 off your next trip from General Mills catalina today — I know I bought two boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios but I don’t know what else I might have bought to kick that in — does anyone know? I want another one!!!!!

    • Hazel says

I bought 3 boxes of Fiber Ones thinking there would be a $3.00 cat but it only spit out for a buck. That’s okay tho, when I went back this morning I decided to parlez that cat into another box of Fiber Ones and I’ll be darned if a cat for a dollar didn’t jump out of that little plastic container by the registers. So I’m inching my way to a 3 dollar cat :)

Those poor little cats that wind up in the plastic thing … it’s like they’re in the island for misfit coupons. All they really want is to be loved and used! We need to help them!

      • HighPlainsMom says

Funny — I absolutely mortified my 14 year old son the other day when I went through the trash can at the self-checkout stand to retrieve 5 catalina coupons. I can’t believe people throw those things away!

I can just see my sons in therapy in 20 years…..”Well, yes doctor….I still have nightmares about the day my Mom made me and my brothers hold her purse while she dug through the trash looking for coupons!”

          • abaily says

The wee ones are doing really well. They are still locked up in their mini houses at the hospital, but hopefully moving to bigger digs soon. No major issues just need to learn to eat and grow. They are 10 days old today. I am well, still healing and traveling 2x daily to hospital.

  14. AMY says

The Deal of the Day coupon on the King Soopers website is a Buy One Get One Free Larabar coupon to load to your Sooper card. Larabars are on sale for $1 this week, making two $0.50 each with the coupon. You have to load the coupon today though but it’s good through March 6. I love the lemon one. I think this is the cheapest I’ve ever been able to get Larabars.

    • Hazel says

Thanks much for the reminder, Amy!
