The Birdseye MQ from the 3/20 SS is actually .50/2, making the deal even better… .50 each!

I hate it when I don’t actually read the coupon. Just go by the deal I read and have in my head. Agh!

I didn’t get the $5 King Soopers credit. I bought 4 General Mills things and used the coupons you listed but no $5 King Soopers gift card was given. What did I do wrong?

Tira~ You need to make sure that your purchased only items that are particiapting in the sale. Where they all marked? If so, your next step would be to stop by customer service and ask them why you were not given a gift card. :)

Tira April 15, 2011 at 10:49 AM

It was GM Lucky Charms, (2) GM Cheerios and a GM Trix cereal. All were listed as items I could get on the $1/3 coupon.

Did the sizes that you bought match up with the King Soopers sale and were they tagged?

Reply

Tira April 15, 2011 at 11:05 AM

They were. Should I take my groceries and the reciept back?

Reply

Jennie April 15, 2011 at 11:08 AM

I would just suggest taking your receipt back next time you go to the store and they should be able to help you out. It may have just been a glitch in their system. If you ever run in to something like this in the future, you can always try asking right at the register too. :)

Trix& Lucky Charms are not apart of the sale. They only have Total, Cherrios, Honey Nut Cherrios, Golden Grahams and Chex in the sale, not all GM cereals. I went today for my 3rd time and was denied the $5 GC because it turns out it’s one per Customer, not transaction!

Totally off-topic but Tira isn’t a very common name. Did you grow up in Wheat Ridge and you’re a very gifted musician? If so, we were friends growing up! :)

Ok ladies. I had some difficulties at King Soopers today. I knew they had changed their coupon policy and they no longer allow Ecoupons and paper coupons on the same product. I was taking advantage of the GM ceral deal. My paper coupons were better than my Ecoupons so to make sure I did it right, I asked if I could use my paper coupons and then swipe my KS card. I was told I could not do it that way. She told me I had to use swipe my card first before using any paper coupons. She wasn’t even willing to try and I only had 6 items. So my question to you is if she had tried my paper coupons and then I swiped my card would it have then not deducted the ecoupons or would they have still appeared? Is there a way to get around the ecoupons previously loaded on my card if I would rather use my paper coupons? Thanks for you help!

I don’t know why she didn’t want you to swipe last.. that doesn’t make sense. I think the key is not to ask. I had them turn down paper coupons at the registers, but the self-checkout folks took both, I don’t know if the software has just not caught up to the policy?

Last time I went I was in the same predicament, knowing that my paper coupons were better than the e ones. I asked to do the same thing (use the paper coupons first) and she said that I had to swipe my Sooper card or the paper coupons would not double. So, double coupons only apply to Sooper Card “members.” My advice is not to load any e-coupons onto your card until the day/week of your shopping trip so you can decided if you need them or not. But be warned: the website says they are not available to use until 1 hour after they have been loaded. Last time I went I had loaded one for a free product right before I left my house and I guess it was not a whole hour until I had checked out b/c the E-coupon didn’t work. :(

Nature Sweet Sunburst Tomatoes are also on sale 2/$5. There was coupon 2 weeks ago in the paper for .55 off (sorry I cut it so don’t remember the exact date or if it was RP or SS).

Also, there is a loadable coupon for the Oral-B toothbrush as well from King’s website. $1.99 off=FREE!

Do you list somewhere what the coupon location abreviations stand for? (RP, SS) or where the MQ might be found?

Reply

JoAnn April 14, 2011 at 7:34 AM

Jody,

RP stands for Red Plum
SS stands for Smart Source
PG stands for Proctor and Gamble
MQ stands for manufactuer coupon

RP, PG, and SS are coupon packets found the the Sunday paper and are filled with MQ.

For example if you are looking for Charmin MQ there is one located on Sunday, April 3 in Proctor & Gamble coupon packet (4/3 PG). There is also another MQ located on (4/10 PG). Which is April 10 in the Proctor & Gamble coup0on packet.

There are also some store coupons that you can combine (stack) with MQ. Usually Jennie will say something like (2/20 RP Target coupon). Store coupons can only be used at that store but can be used with manufactuer coupon on one item. Hope this makes sense and helps you.
