There is a $1/3, $2/4, $3/5 coupon for 3M products at coupon dot com. I think you may need to use zip code 77477. If you buy 5 post it and scotch tape items and use $3/5 coupon, the final cost would be .39 each or $2 for all 5 items.

I have a question. On Sunday I tried using a store coupon for $2/3 Suave Body Washes with 3 MQ each for $0.75/1 Suave Body Wash. The register beeped and the checker told me I couldn’t use the store coupon and MQ for the same items. I would need to buy 3 more body washes. I asked him to call over a manager because I thought I could use all 4 coupons on just the 3 items. The manager told me exactly what the checker told me. They were very nice and so was I. I asked them to back out the 3 body washes and went on my way.

What did I do wrong? Over the July 4th weekend I used a store coupon and MQ on Sierra Mist and had no problems, but I only had one of each. Is it that I can only stack 1 MQ with 1 store coupon? I tried using 3 MQ on the body washes. Thanks to anyone who can explain this to me.

Amy~ It is very very rare for KS to offer a store coupon for somehting like Suave. Where did you get it and are you sure that it doesn’t say “manufacturer coupon” on the top with the King Soopers logo on the bottom?

Reply

6 Amy July 11, 2012 at 1:51 PM

I got it in an envelope they mail out and I thought all of those coupons were store coupons. They have a red border around them with King Soopers logo on them. They come in a long sheet, separately by perforations. Now that I’m looking at it closer, you are right. It says “Manufacturer Coupon” across the top and has the Unilever address on the back to get reimbursement. I get their My Magazine Coupon book too and I knew those were MQ and I always cut off their logo at the bottom, but I didn’t know the coupons sent in the envelopes were. I learned something new today. Thanks.
So, another question then, can I use this Suave coupon anywhere even though it has their logo on it?

Reply

7 Jennie July 11, 2012 at 2:21 PM

Yep…you can use them anywhere. :) Sometimes really picky cashiers might give you soem trouble, but you should just be able to point out the “manufacturer coupon” at the top and directions on the back on how they can get paid.

Is the Pepsi coupon in the insert a regular manufacturer coupon? I only see a Target store coupon in that insert. But, maybe it’s a regional thing and I don’t have the other one?

9 Emilee July 12, 2012 at 9:10 AM

I have the same thing. It was on a page of Target coupons.

Huggies Refill Baby Wipes, 64 count are $1.49 in the Mega Event, and there was a $0.50/1 coupon in Sunday’s paper, making them $0.49 each. That’s a pretty good deal.

Thanks for all you do to help me and my family save money!

I was looking for Scotch Tape and Sticky Notes but I couldn’t find them for .99. They were ringing $1.99 I think but for sure they were around $1.9… Is it a part of Mega Event?

They are listed in the ad as regular sale items for .99 each for Post-It Super Sticky Notes and Scotch Tape. Did you get a chance to ask anyone at the store?

17 Jennie July 13, 2012 at 9:01 AM

Also, they are not bart of the Mega Event SB. Are you able to see the sales in your ad?

Skinny Cow candies – single packets, B2/G1. B1G1 Skinny Cow Singles Chocolate Candy, exp. 7/31/12 (SS 04/29/12 R) brings these down to $.30 a packet. These are great frozen.

KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce = 4/$5.00. $0.75/1 KC Masterpiece Barbecue Sauce or Marinade, exp. 8/26/12 (SS 06/24/12 R) brings these down to $.25 a bottle.

Sunsweet Pitted Prunes @ $3.99 (normally $4.99) and there is a printable on the database that will bring these down to $2.99. Ayup, it’s true – I am what I eat, in this case.

Skintimate shaving cream is $1.49 with the mega event. Pair that with the 0.55/1 (8/5/12 SS 06/24/12) and that makes them .49 each. :)

Also available with the 3M coupon is are kids scissors. I found some on sale for .99 each so that’s a great stock up price, with the coupon, I think.

BTW, if you can make it up to the KS in Bennett they have a bunch of half gallon milk on markdown. I guess there was a mistake in a shipment and received waaaay too much. The expiration date on the ones I picked up isn’t until the 20th so that’s still a lot of time. Yesterday they were marked down to .50 each but today a friend of mine went and they were only. 25 each!!!! That’s .50 for a gallon of milk!!! They are the ones in the cardboard cartons…not sure how much is left but there was A LOT when I was there yesterday.

Skintimate is not part of the event at my Kings, but the Satin Care shaving cream is. It’s 1.49 but I don’t think there is a coupon for it.

Thanks everyone for the match-ups and extra finds. I love coming here before I hit the store to see what others have found. When I was in the baby aisle for the wipes deal I noticed that a number of the Gerber food items were part of the Buy 10 deal. The lil’ entrees are 1.50 each and there is a coupon on couponnetworks for 1.10 off when you buy 5. I don’t know what the rating would be but I thought 1.28 each was a decent deal. It then printed out a catalina coupon for 1.50 off 4. I don’t know if everyone will get one but if you do it makes for an even better deal the next time.

Ooh, my little ones love these, thanks for the coupon heads up.
Also the Lil’ meals (spaghetti rings, shells and cheese, chicken and stars etc the ones in the bowls) have a cat deal right now. My store lists all 5 or 6 varieties of these as included. Regular price is $1.04 and then wyb 5 you get $2 cat. .64 each. Love this since Gerber coupons are so rare!

Reply

24 Andrea July 17, 2012 at 12:21 PM

For the Gerber items, if you buy 5, you get $2.50 cat, if you buy 10, you get a $5!! This makes each item around $1/each!!!! The little puffs and cookies are great for my daughter who is teething!! These are around $3 at Walmart so a great stock up price!!

And Silk Almond milk is part of the mega event, but at my store is $1.69 after th .50 savings, and even better deal at .69 after doubled coupon listed in the matchups.

In case anyone was wondering the Buy 10 Save $5 promotion is valid 7/11-7/24. So looks like we’ll have another week to enjoy these savings. There was a stand that had the flyers listing products that are included and the promotion dates. I’m hoping it will help me pull coupons before my next trip.
Also KS is printing catalinas advertising 2 upcoming coupons:
1. Buy $7 of Oral-B toothbrushes between 7/20/12-8/15/12 and Save $2 on a future trip.
2. Purchase at least $30 in any Purina pet products between 7/25/12 and 8/7/12 and Save $5 or more on a future order with coupon. Spend $30-$39.99 & Get $5.00… or Spend $40 or more and Get $10.00… coupon off your next shopping order.

Lol Of course the wipes are a better deal this week. :-( I put in a special order last mega week for the mega event to get them for .89. Oh well, I was donating them all to the fire victims anyway, but it would have been nicer to get them for less! :-(

I just got back from KS and in the personal care aisle there was a stand that had Poise liners for 2.49 but then free after the attached coupon. The cashier scanned the coupon and it automatically took off the 2.49. Worked like a charm.
