Yay, I love having the matchups on Monday! Thanks so much Amy. So glad when these mega deals run 2 weeks. Now I don’t have to cram to plan my shopping trip for tomorrow.
I agree…the two week Mega Events rock! Thanks for your nice comment…we apprecaite it a lot.
Saving star has a $5 off when you purchase $15 worth of Wisk products. If you buy 4, use 4 coupons + saving star coupon = $2.74 per bottle!
Awesome! Thanks for the heads up Faith!
Hi!! I didn’t see the Blue Bell Ice Cream, but this week is on sale for $3.99 and on line is a coupon for $1.00 (On Blue Bell web page) and final price is $2.99
well, we love this Ice Cream and it’s a little expensive, so we are enjoying it this week!!!
Hi Mariam.
These deals actually do not start until Wednesday, but the Blue Bell is listed as part of last weeks deals here: http://www.bargainblessings.com/2012/07/king-soopers-deals-711-717-new-buy-10-save-5-mega-event/
My store had the Satin Care shaving cream for that price, not the Skintimate.
Mine too. I double checked when I was there and none of the Skintimates were that price.
The king soopers ad that starts tomorrow shows the toothpaste 99cents after the mega event so with a 50cent coupon that doubles those should be free. Am I missing something? Your matchup has them priced at $1.99 when it should be 99 cents….
Hi Monica. It looks like last weeks Mega Event had the Colgate Toothpaste 4-6oz Select Varieties for $1.99 each. This weeks ad changed to Colgate Toothpaste 6.4oz or 1 ct Select Varieties for .99 each. I didn’t notice they had changed the sizes or price when doing the match-up. Looks like your price may range from .99 – FREE (with coupon) depending on which “variety” you get. Thanks for pointing it out and please let us know if you see anything else that is amiss
HTH clear things up.
My store in Centennial does not have any colgate marker for the mega event.
Meant to say “marked.” No toothbrushes or the toothpaste.
What is King Soopers limit on the number of like coupons you can use in one transaction? I can’t remember, but I’m thinking 4.
5 like UPC’s per like coupon. So you could have 15 of the same coupon and get say 5 Ragu Sauces in Sausage, 5 Meat, 5 Garlic etc….but not all of one flavor.
Jennifer is exactly right.
Print off the coupon policy and keep it with your coupons. Some cashiers still think it is only 5 like coupons. If you show them your print out you can show them it is 5 like UPC’s per coupon.
Thanks for everyone explaining this. So I just read my coupon. It is the printable one for $0.75 off Suave Body Wash and it says, “Maximum of two (2) identical coupons allowed in the same shopping trip.” So King Soopers will probably only take two, right, because the coupon restricts it? Darn it. I have eight of these coupons.
I used 5 with no problems, but my store isn’t very picky…….yet!
I was able to use 5 in one shot – no beepage. I hate to admit I didn’t read the fine print about a restriction. Let’s face it, I don’t like to dig my glasses out unless I hear the register beep.
You could also use 2 of the .50 coupons for the body wash from makinglifebetter.com in order to buy 4. That also has a limit of 2 like coupons.
This website has a .50 cents off for Chex Mix making them .$99 this week, http://www.everydaysaver.com/kroger
Also, I thought I saw Hydro Schick Shaving gel on sale for the event (but I had four kids screaming at me so I could of mistook it)– but if so there is a coupon on coupons.com for $1.00 off making them $0.49– so if anyone is going let us know!
I took a look this afternoon. The Shick wasn’t on sale at my KS. The Gilette sitting next to it was though. Thanks for sharing re: the chex coupon.
In today’s paper there was a q for .75/1 Kraft Fresh Takes, making these .99! And there was also a .55/1 Satin Care for the shaving cream!
Also, there is a $1/4 Pringles Super Stack, making them .74/each wyb 4
There are certain flavors of Zone Bars on close-out for $.50 each. These were spotted at both Castle Pines and Castle Rock locations so they might be at your store, too.
Using $0.55/1 ZonePerfect or Perfectly Simple Item, exp. 8/15/12 (SS 07/15/12), you can score bars, in multiples of two, free.
The ones that aren’t on close-out are on a 10fer10 but this way, you get double your free Zones.
I had no problems at CP but when my CFF bought them at CR they questioned it because the value of the coupon exceeded the price. But, since she bought 2 bars, it was accepted with no hassle.
I went at 10:30 last night to use my four coupons for Skintimate as part of my buy 10 deal. That wasn’t the brand on sale. It was skin mate or something like that. Close, but not right. I was so disappointed. I am new to couponing. Started collecting inserts in March. I can’t wait for five months from now when I’m good at this! Jeez! I really hope I don’t find the “skin mate” (or whatever it was called) coupons in my binder!!!!
Sorry for the confusion April!
Jennie, that’s ok.
I bought them anyway for my husband to use. I tried not to think that it was probably just a C purchase.
It’s the first time he’s used shaving cream from a pink can. I don’t use it. I prefer the epilady! It lasts longer!
A year from now I can tell this story when I teach a coupon class to my church. Have to make lots of mistakes to learn.
