King Soopers is starting a pretty nice cereal and milk deal this week. There are not currently a ton of coupons to go along with, but I expect we will see some more rolling out with the start of the new month right around the corner! You can also snatch up some FREE toothpaste and toothbrushes!

Are you new to Bargain Blessings? Check-out our Grocery Store Deal Grading System!

Quick Tips: King Soopers doubles coupons up to $1, so if you have a .40 coupon it will double to .80. A .75 coupon will double to $1, and a .25 coupon will double to .50! Remember that eCoupons do not double. King Soopers is no longer giving a .05 per bag credit.

King Soopers has a 3-like coupon policy. This means 3 like items can have 3 identical coupons.

4 Barbara August 1, 2011 at 12:18 AM

Not sure if it’s written anywhere, but Kings also has a 1 coupon per item limit (according to the manager at mine in Castle Rock). For example, if you have 3 coupons for $1.50 off Pampers, but only purchase 1 bag/box, you can only use 1 of those 3 coupons. You can buy 3 like items use all 3 of the coupons. You cannot use more than 3 like coupons (with 3 items) per transaction. If you had more than 3 of the same coupon, that’d have to go into another transaction to be able to use all your coupons.

Just FYI as this has messed me up the last 2 weeks in a row with budgeting (one of the weeks, I had a terrible cashier who yelled at me and was totally irritated by my misunderstanding. She didn’t even understand how to explain it to me, so I made the same mistake again this week!).

Any clarification on this from anyone? I’m still pretty new at this, but don’t want to keep wasting my time finding multiple coupons when I can only use one anyways. Any other stores accept more than one MQ on one product? Walgreens, maybe? with one coupon per item regardless of which item matches coupon?

Thanks so much for the clarification and matchups!! THAT does save me tons of time, and has been my only saving grace for this couponing thing thus far!!!

As far as I know you can only use 1 MQ per item, but you can combine a store coupon with a MQ coupon. It is because the store gets paid back only if the coupon is used correctly. Usually they say something like one coupon per purchase. Which basically means one MQ per item. Hope this helps!

Hi Barbara,
I live in CR as well…are you referring to the King Soopers off of Ridge Road?? If so I was told by a very rude cashier at that location that I could only use 3 “like” coupons per item…she acted as if I was trying to rip her and the store off buy giving her 4 “like” coupons…she told me that this had always been the coupon policy. I unfortunately I had not taken the time to look at the King Soopers coupon policy so I had no idea…but didn’t appreciate being treated like a criminal ;)
Well let’s just say that I don’t shop at the Ridge Rd. location any more. I’m willing to go out of my way to shop at the Founders location after being treated so poorly. But it is important to note that I only use 3 “like” coupons at this store even though I could probably use more as I have been able to in the past. I will not support any establishment that is disrespectful to its patrons…my hard earned money will be spent else where ;)

Friskies Cat Food / 5.5 oz cans are on sale 10/4.50 – with coupons (1.00 off 20 cans) it came down to .40 a can. Here’s the cats meow … I bought 60 cans and a little catalina came purring out of the machine for $5.00! Thank YOU Purina!

8 Andrea July 28, 2011 at 8:01 PM

I bought 8 Crest toothpaste in one transaction (the mgr made an exception for my qs!) and still didn’t get the Catalina. :-(

9 MelissaA July 28, 2011 at 10:11 AM

The Crest Catalina runs thru 7/31. You get one for $2 off your next purchase (excluding P&G products) when you buy at least $6 worth of Crest toothpaste. I purchased 3, used (3) .75 coupons, paid 14 cents tax and got the $2 Catalina. It uses the regular price of the toothpaste to determine if you get the catalina, not the sales price of $1.

10 Edna Lee July 27, 2011 at 6:44 PM

I didn’t get the Crest Catalina, but I also split my order into two transactions so that I could use all of my coupons.

11 Andrea July 27, 2011 at 5:21 PM

The Crest CAT didn’t work for me. :-(

12 Tracy July 27, 2011 at 3:05 PM

I went first thing this morning and bought 4 crest toothpaste and one softsoap and paid 60 cents (the tax in my area is rediculous and they charge tax before Q’s)… Anyway when I finished paying the cantina printed a 2 dollar off Q for my next king soopers shopping trip (from crest)!!! Whoo hoo!!! Hope you all get that cantina!!! Good luck!

13 Megan July 27, 2011 at 12:11 PM

Most of the General Mills cereals were included so take all the GM coupons you have. It was great for us since we were getting low on cereal and I always buy 4 gallons a week.

Also I got a $2 Catalina from Crest – I had 4 toothbrushes and 2 toothpastes.

14 Kelly July 30, 2011 at 12:01 PM

Don’t forget about King Soopers’ digital coupons for GM coupons, too. A variety of the GM cereals seem to have .50 – .75 off digital coupons.

15 Ashley July 27, 2011 at 11:51 AM

For those that are military-The commissary has the super shopper or super saver (whatever it is) mag at the entrance. There is a .50/1 for the softsoap! That means if you grab enough you’ll get 10 free!!! :D

16 Jessica July 27, 2011 at 8:40 AM

My City Market is showing beggin strips dog treats as BOGO. I also have a BOGO coupon for them. Do I need to buy 3 so that I would get 2 free, or buy 2 and get both for free?

17 Nicole July 27, 2011 at 9:01 AM

You should be able to buy 2 and get both free, but if a cashier & manager balk at that, buying 3 and getting 2 free is definitely a way around.

18 Carrie July 27, 2011 at 9:21 AM

Can you tell me where you found that coupon?

19 Carrie July 27, 2011 at 9:35 AM

Silly question: could you buy four beggin dog treats and use the BOGO free coupon and the $4 off 4 coupon. I don’t know KS coupon policy on BOGO products.

20 Judy July 27, 2011 at 10:11 PM

5/8 SS good till 8/8/11 Bogo coupon found on hot coupon worlds coupon data base.

21 Andrea July 27, 2011 at 8:23 AM

Just thought I’d let you know, I found a back to school Keebler book at Walmart with $ off produce, bread, milk wyb certain products… on the lookout for those!!! :-)

22 Amy Adkins July 27, 2011 at 8:03 AM

Sorry, just looked at the softsoap coupon and it is for a smaller size than is included in the sale :(

23 Amy Adkins July 27, 2011 at 8:00 AM

It looks like the Danimals packs are included in the yogurt sale in the ad, and I have a $1 MQ that would make them 0.88. The softsoap liquid hand soap is in the 10 for $10 sale, and I have a 0.35 coupon that would make them 0.30. Also for the ivory bar or body wash, I have a $1 coupon that would make them free! Then for the Shick Quattro razors, there is a BOGO MQ, and two $1 coupons, so if we can use all three, we could get 2 packs for 3.99. Pretty good deals! Hope this helps someone!

24 Jessica July 27, 2011 at 8:48 AM

Watch out on the softsoap coupon. Mine says on 8 oz and the sale is on 7.5 oz. What does 0.5 oz really make?!?!??

25 erin July 29, 2011 at 7:49 PM

the coupons for the softsoap work even though it says 8oz or larger on the coupons and the bottle size is 7.5. At my KS today they worked, so you might want to try

26 Jennie July 30, 2011 at 8:45 AM

Hi Erin…welcome to Bargain Blessings. :) Manufacturers put restrictions on coupons to ensure that we are using them on the correct products, so it is important that we follow those restrictions. Although a coupon may go through, unfortunately that does not make it ethical to use it. Make sure to check out this post on ethical couponing:

I hope that makes sense. :) Please let me know if you have any questions!
