Does anyone know if the mega deals at KS this week are for just this week or next week as well?

Hi Anon~
Sorry for your frustrating experience. The store actually has the right to enter the coupon at the .49 that the product is costing you. I would have to say that is actually more likely than them entering it at the .99 price. Unfortunately, their isn't a whole lot you can do in this situation. :(

I am so frustrated. Went to King Soopers last night and got 28 Sobes with 14 BOGO coupons, and they took off $1.49 per coupon (the original price of each Sobe) and didn't give me any issues. Today I went back with 8 more coupons to get some more, and first I was told by the manager that they would only allow 3 of the same item to be couponed per transaction (I have couponed a LOT at King Soopers before and never had this happen). She then told me she would let me do it this time only. Then after that whole ordeal, when they went to scan the coupon, they only wanted to give me $0.49 per coupon because that is what the Sobes are after the $4 off 8 items sale. I told them they could either give me at least $0.99 or they could restock my whole completely filled cart because I was walking away. They stood by their $0.49 even though I told them why should it matter to them since they would get reimbursed back the $0.99 since that is technically the sale price of the item. They decided not to budge and I let them restock my full cart and told them I would be shopping at Safeway from now on. Hope it was worth it to them to lose a customer….

Definitely look through your blinkies for Bumble Bee Tuna. I had a couple of $.55 off one pouch and was excited for a .06 money maker, then when I got to the checkout, the register automatically doubled them to 1.00 (even though the coupon said don't double) making them a $.51 money maker! WOOHOO!
The SOBE BOGO coupons are doing something screwy too. Since the regular retail price is $1.48 that is what the register is automatically taking off for free one, making these a HUGE money maker. I usually bring it to their attention (I always feel guilty) and they tell me not to worry about it. Umm OK!

Melissa~
I'm always reluctant to grade TP deals since "stock up prices" are so so rare. My Target price to stock up is .10-.15 per roll for quality paper…but again, that is very rare. It is really hard to grade TP and Paper Towel deals since we can get them for free or hit the target price only about once per year. For items like that I just suggest making your own target price as time goes on…your goal would be to bring it down lower and lower each time you purchase it. Does that make sense?

Sayler Family~ Thanks for the heads up! I've fixed my math error! :)

About the Jimmy Dean sausage – it's BOGO for $4.29, so if you buy 2, each one would be $2.15, add the coupon and that's $1.15 each for a pound of great sausage!

Hey Jennie – what do you consider a 'good' price on toilet paper? Do you stick with one brand? I am having a tough time figuring out how to build my stock pile on t.p.! Just wondering how you and anyone else breaks out the cost and considers it good (quality too lol). Thanks.

LOL Jessica. :) This might help: http://www.welchs.com/about-welchs/faq/product-faqs/whats-the-difference-between-jelly,-jam,-preserves-and-spreads

I agree…I like strawberry better! You could always buy the grape and then ask customer service if they will allow you to exchange it sinc the starwberry was not included in the sale…they just *might* let you.

I stood in the aisle forever yesterday trying to figure out the difference between Welch's jelly and jam. The ingredients are exactly the same…anyone know? I think I ended up going with the jam.
Anyway, was bummed only the grape was on sale…could really use some strawberry.

That is awesome Becky! Has anyone else found this to be the case at their store too?

At my store (Greeley) the Purex was part of the mega event, making it $1.49 WYB 8 items, so $0.79 after the doubled coupon. Even better!
