Just a note on the degree/dove deoderant that is one sale. The kind that is one sale is not the same as the coupon that you’ve matched them with. Those are both around $3.50 and not the ones that are on sale in the store. At least not at my local KS. the coupons are very specific for which kind of degree/dove –both men’s and women’s.
Have you tried matching them up even though the sale is not the same as the coupon? I didn’t dare try it.

Reply

6 Amy November 30, 2012 at 3:04 PM

Hey Tamie,
Thanks for letting me know. I will make a comment in the match-up about it. In this case it’s always better to follow the coupon because we don’t want to risk gypping the store if the coupons don’t match up on the back side. I recently had this happen with a toothbrush deal I wasn’t paying close enough attention on and it was basically stealing.. which is always a no no :) So I would stick with the “I didn’t dare try it” theory in this case :D Thanks again!

King’s has a digital coupon for $1/2 degree or dove. It didn’t specify a certain type so I think it will work with this sale

Maruchan Yakisoba Product (SS 10/14/12, $0.50/1)

These are still on sale @ $1.09 so $09 each. Regular price is $1.19

Thanks Hazel! What are these exactly? I saw the coupon for them but wasn’t sure if they are noodle bowls or what? You like them?

Reply

10 Hazel November 30, 2012 at 3:17 PM

LOL … can’t offer an opinion, I’ve never tried one – they go straight for donations. It looks similar to the Ramen noodley things but there’s a Cheddar Cheese version that almost looks like Mac n Cheese.

I’m a halibut lotta help, eh?

Reply

11 HighPlainsMom November 30, 2012 at 7:41 PM

Hallibut lotta help? Oh stop!

How unshellfish of you to donate all that yummy Yakisoba!

I’ve never had an oh-perch-tuna-ty to try the mackerel and cheese flavor but my boys like the rest.

Didn’t mean to carp about it….but nearly-free Yakisoba is a halibut deal!

They are a step above ramen bricks. Not to bad and my kids like them. Will stock up.

15 Amy December 3, 2012 at 1:06 PM

lol thanks for the tips ladies! It’s nice to know what the products actually are when I’m doing match-ups… next time I see it I’ll be thinking of cheesy macaroni ramen noodles and… hallibut? haha :)

For the General Mills cereal marked down to .99 with coupons at KS, at Albertons General Mills cereals are 1.49 wyb 4. I know that there have recently been a couple of .60 coupons for Cheerios and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, so these would be .89 (my stored doesn’t usually double). I know it’s not much, but if you’re going there anyway it might be nice to save the extra little bit. Especially with how fast kiddos go through these.

On another note, does anyone know if you can stack coupons with the new “Personal Prices” that King Soopers offers? I assume not since it probably counts as a digital coupon…

Reply

20 alaina November 29, 2012 at 9:02 AM

I have been using coupons with my personal prices, paper coupons that is. I haven’t had any problems with doing it.

21 Jamie November 30, 2012 at 12:33 PM

How do you do personal prices??

22 HighPlainsMom November 30, 2012 at 3:52 PM

Jamie – I’m honestly not sure how this program was launched or who gets it.

I received this email from Kings:

Extra Savings reserved for
our most VALUED shoppers only.

Congratulations!

As one of our BEST CUSTOMERS, it’s your time to enjoy extra savings on selected items from your very own shopping list. The PERSONAL PRICES below have been customized just for you based on the items on YOUR LIST. Simply log in to your account and load your PERSONAL PRICES to your Sooper Card.

Your PERSONAL PRICES will be good for a limited time, EVERY TIME you purchase the items and present your Sooper Card. Buy as many as you want and continue to get YOUR PERSONAL PRICE!
————————————————–

So I got special pricing on Cheez Its, Dixie Plates, Powerade and Beef Chuck Roast. They are very good prices (3.99 a pound for roast, .49 ea for Powerade, 2.19 for plates and Cheez-Its for 2.49) I bought a ton of Powerade because my sons do sports and drink it like crazy and a few roasts to freeze.

The nice thing is that I can buy as much as I want and the deals are valid until 12/31/12. Don’t know if I’ll get new ones at that time or not.

So far I have been receiving these personal prices emails once a month for the past 3 months. I believe the items are based on your own shopping habits. This month my items are Doritos 1.89, land o frost lunch meat 3.19 and goldfish 1.09. Last month I was offered hills hire farm rope sausage for 2.49 and I stacked that price with coupons and stocked up on sausage for 1.49 each.

24 Jen December 1, 2012 at 11:44 PM

I noticed them when searching for coupons on my android phone using the Kroger app and was able to download them to my value card. I have gotten eggs for .99. Lays chips 1.99. Pepsi 20 pk. for 4.89 and sliced mushrooms for 1.49.

Free Brut deodorant – it’s 10/$10 and there was a $1 coupon recently

You can also still get the digital coupon for Air Wick candles ($4 off 2) which brings them down to .99 each. It’s only good for a couple of days so don’t wait!

And I think I’ll try one of those Bailey’s coffee creamers that they had a coupon for last week. It brings the price down to .89….worth taking a chance on!

I tried the Bailey’s creamer with my coffee this morning — talk about Top ‘o the Mornin’ to ya!

I got the “original” which is just like having a shot of Bailey’s in your coffee but without the alcohol. They also had a “caramel” flavor at my store. Yum!

Hello, I see that Hamburger helper is on sale BUT did you know that you can make the mix yourself and save a ton of money. I make a big batch of the powdered mix about 2x a year. Just search Hamburger helper mix recipe for a crowd. Then you know what is in it also. You can also save a bunch of money making your own laundry detergent. Cost is about $8 for 3 gallons that is about 40 loads.
But love this site it has saved my budget and you all that comment have been wonderful also.

I posted on King’s for last weeks prices earlier today-but was incorrect in my pricing. If you can get to King Soopers tonight (tuesday 11-27) before the new ad breaks, Secret deodorant is on sale for $1.29 when you buy 4 (of any items included in the buy 4 sale). With the $1.00 off coupon that was in the 10/28 P&G insert, this brings the deodorant down to $.29!!! May be worth a trip tonight if you live close to a King Soopers! I was at the Parker store in Stroh Ranch.

4x times the Gas Points on Gift Cards through December 9th :)

If you’re giving GCs or plan on shopping online through ebates, pick up some GCs for that extra savings on gas. I seem to have plenty of gas during the holidays but that’s a different deal. (mum)
