I found Airborne at the Louisville (287) King Sooper as part of the Mega Event for $5.49. There was a $1.50/1 in SS 10/28/12 that brings it down to $4.00. Best price I’ve seen.

Has anyone peeked at the end date on the tags? Is this a 2 week mega-event?

Reply

Brittany, yes this is a two week sale!! Just finished the match-ups for this week so you’ll be seeing that soon. Some new items on the list for the Mega Event this week as well :)

Heluva Good Dips are showing on the card as part of the Mega. Just saw a Q over on coupon network for $1.00/2 dips or cheeses.

I don’t know the Mega price, sorry about that. I tried the dip when it first came out – thought it would be dipalicious based on the name but I didn’t think it was a heluva good dip. I’d probably only get it again if it was free :)

Very interesting Hazel. Heluva Good Dip was the main chip dip we had growing up on the east coast. It was always my favorite! I was so excited to see it out here this last year. I still love it, but my family seems to not favor it as much as in the past. They like the meadow gold brand the most now.
Mmmmm, nothing like some salty chips and french onion dip!
Very excited for my trip this morning, hoping there is still stock left on the shelves!!

Reply

10 Sharon November 6, 2012 at 11:41 AM

Does anyone know if dips freeze well?

Reply

11 Mommy Kane November 6, 2012 at 12:19 PM

I have never frozen a sour cream based dip, i feel it wouldn’t be too good, but you never know. I have frozen the wholly guacamole brand queso with pretty good results tho.

Reply

12 Sharon November 6, 2012 at 12:23 PM

Thanks! I wonder if I froze it, then right before it is fully thawed whipped it with the mixer it would work….hmmmm….gonna have to try that. Hubby LOVES dip.

The Dove men’s care body wash is in the Mega Event too for $2.99. I has $2/1 coupons printed from coupons.com bringing them to .99 each. I bought 3 and got a $2 catalina (not sure how many you need for a cat) but another awesome deal!!!

Reply

14 Paige November 4, 2012 at 4:53 PM

Thanks for mentioning! I stopped by the KS website, and they’ve got $1 off Dove men’s care body wash to load to your card. If you get 2, it’s a $1 MM. (Buy two for the $2 cat.) There’s also $.50 off Dawn dish soap available, so even if you can’t find the Dawn for $1, you can at least get one for free.

Reply

15 Nicole November 4, 2012 at 6:05 PM

None of the Dawn was marked down at my store (Firestone) they were all marked $3.09 :(

Reply

16 Emilee November 4, 2012 at 8:25 PM

None at the Coalmine & Pierce or Broadway & Mineral either! :-(

Reply

17 Hazel November 5, 2012 at 3:29 AM

Castle Rock (the one in town – not up by Founders) has the small bottles of Dawn priced @ 4/$5.00 so a quarter a piece. I didn’t see the same sale at Castle Pines tho, it may be the same just not marked. When I price checked Thursday it was still at $1.49

Does anyone know what zip code to use for Jet-Puffed Marshmallows? I printed 1 coupon in the morning but when I tried for the 2nd time, there was no coupon. I know sometimes when you try to print the same coupon 2nd time, it moves to the bottom but I couldn’t find it anywhere. No peelies at my store :(.

Reply

27 Jenna November 4, 2012 at 9:31 AM

SB~ It should not require a zip code, but if you visit the printable coupon page on Bargain Blessings you just might be able to find it there. You can click on the little “Print Coupons” sign at the top of the page to access it. :)

Coupons dot com, I was under zipper 60101 (and about fainted when I saw all these!)

$.50/2 Jet-Puffed Marshmallows – part of the Mega, makes ‘em free

$1.00/1 Oscar Mayer Pork Bacon – I didn’t see this on the Mega card, just a nice Q to stash

$1.00/2 Velveeta Shells & Cheese Dinners – part of the Mega, brings ‘em down to $.99 a box

$1.00/2 Stove Top Stuffing – part of the Mega, brings ‘em down to $.29 a box

$1.00/2 Cool Whip – part of the Mega, brings ‘em down to $.49 a tub

$1.00/1 Velveeta 32oz or larger – I think this was part of the Mega, brings it down to $3.69 a block

Few other Megas:

Hormel Chili – $.87 a can (doesn’t included the No Beans version). There’s a hard copy Q from SS 09/09/12 $1.00/2 – other Qs are out there. Brings ‘em down to $.37 a can

Success Boil In Bag Rice – part of the Mega @ $1.79, $.50/1 RP 09/16/12 – brings it down to $.79 (Limit 1 – good if you need a onesie)

Minute Rice Ready To Serve – part of the Mega @ 1.59, $.50/1 RP 10/21/12 – brings it down to $.59 each (Limit 1 – good if you need a onesie)

Mrs Butterworth Syrup – part of the Mega @ 3.59, hang tags on bottles (Castle Pines) for $1.00/1 – brings it down to $2.59 a bottle

Mt Olive Pickles – part of the Mega @ 1.49 a jar – there were hang tags for $1.00/1 at Safeway. Not sure if they’re still there or not but if you grabbed them, you’re golden

Nutella – part of the Mega @ 3.59 – $1.00/1 RP 10/21/12, brings it down to $2.59. It’s been ages since I bought Nutella but if it’s a match, me thinx $2.59 is a good price?

I kept forgetting to check if things were part

LOL … I keep forgetting what I keep forgetting! That’s how excited I get when I see good printables.

At Castle Pines, the Mediterranean Dawn was at regular price, $1.49 … will keep my eyes open for a price drop at that location.

The Hormel white chicken chili is also part of the Mega. It’s .99 instead of .87 so not quite as cheap but I really like it. My KS had $1/2 coupons in the little machine right by the chilis.

Pietra, yes you can mix and match any of the items that have the Mega Event tags. Just be sure to keep track so you are getting enough to meet the 10 items so you can get the $5 off.

If you are planning to do the Huggies deal you can buy multiples of $20 and get multiple cats. I was able to snag 4 of the $3/1 Huggies Snug and Dry coupons that were on Coupons.com this week. So I did this:
Buy (4) of the jumbo size that were on sale for 9.59 each.
Buy (1) Pack of Huggies Simply Clean 64 cnt. wipes for 1.89.
Use (4) Save $3/1 Huggies Snug and Dry coupons.
Use (1) Save .35/1 Huggies Wipes from 10/21 SS
Pay 27.55 get (2) $5.00 cats. So like paying 17.55 for (4) jumbo packs and (1) 64 cnt wipes.

Also, the V-8 fusion smoothies are included as part of the V-8 fusions for 1.99. So .99 after the $1/1 Q. I don’t remember what insert they are from. But I had some in my binder that expired today and some that expire in Nov. I left about 5 more that expire today at the KS on Belleview and Kipling in Littleton so if you’re near there they may still be there. :)

It was the 10/14 SS that had the most recent Save $1/1 36 oz V8 V-Fusion Smoothie. It expires 11/25. There was also a .50/2 V-Fusion 100% juice 46 oz in the 9/23 SS. That one expires 11/4.

Buy 4 reach toothbrush (1.99 but 1.49 when you buy 10 items.)
Use 2 coupons for 2.00 off 2 reach from coupons.com
Get a cat for 4.00.

There were peelies on the Quaker Quakes for .55/2. They are .89 as part of the mega sale so .78 for 2!

Skintimates were 1.50. So if you use the 1.50/2 coupon from coupons.com they are .75 each.

I found the medierreanean scented dawn detergent for .99 (in store special it said). So free after the .50/1 dawn coupon in the 10/28 P&G.

There is another advertised cat (with a big sign) for save 1.50 on your next shopping trip when you buy any 2 scrubbing bubbles all purpose cleaner with fantastik or Windex products. There are all sorts of scenarios but I’ve been wanting windex.
Buy 2 windex for 2.69 (when you buy 10 items)
Use 1 coupon for 1.00/2 from coupons.com
Pay 4.38 and receive 1.50 cat. So like paying 1.44 each. There are cheaper items that a are part of the buy 10 and cat so you can probably get even better deals.

After some more research I’m wondering if the sign that was up for the windex cat was old. There is currently a cat running on S.C. Johnson Home Cleaning products between 10/28 and 11/25 that shows up on couponnetwork.com. I’ll post if I see any specific dates for the one that had the sign near the shelf. I’ll also see if my regular KS has that same sign.

Well, there was no sign for the 1.50 cat at my other store. So I’m guessing they just forgot to take it down. I decided to try a different scenario and will probably still go back to get my windex later. :)
Buy (2) Pledge Multi-Surface Spray (3.59 each when you buy 10) and
(1) Scrubbing Bubbles Total Kitchen all purpose cleaner with fantastik (2.49 when you buy 10).
Use (1) B1G1 Free Pledge Multi-Surface Spray from 9/23 SS. exp. 11/4
(she used the sale price of 4.09)
Use (1) Save .50/1 Scrubbing Bubbles All Purpose Cleaner with fantstik.
I paid 4.58 got back a 3.00 cat. So like paying 1.58 for all 3!

There is a Kleenex coupon in the 9/30 SS for $0.30/3. The King Soopers in Boulder also had peelies for the marshmallows, $0.50/2, making them free after the coupon doubles.

how does it work when you “like” them on facebook? I can never get a coupon?

Michalina,
All of the facebook coupons are a little different. Some of them will pull a coupon up automatically for you to print when you “like” them. Others you have to dig around a bit. I have found a “coupons” tab on some of the pages that’s at the top of the page just under the “liked” and “Message” button. I wish it was more straight forward but unfortunately they all vary so we can’t know how each coupon can be found on the various facebook pages. I know the frustration of “liking” them and then not even getting a coupon out of it… HTH a little though :)

Whoa dawgies, here comes the wicked witch of Gas Points land :)

Don’t forget to check your Gas Points. With the sales that have been running this month, I’ve accumulated quite a few. Tomorrow morning I’ll be riding my broom to the KS station and cackling when the pump asks me if I want to use them all.

I hope no one throws water on me before I fill up, I’d hate to melt before I save!

You can use Target coupons at King Soopers? Did I read this correctly in the comments? If so, I have never paid attention. Oops.

Sometimes (it’s rare, but sometimes) Target will have printable manufacturer coupons on their website and those can be used at other stores. It is only the Target store coupons (which most of them are) that you cannot use at other stores. You can, however, stack those Target store coupons with manufacturer coupons at Target. :)

Heyas Tobi – it’s not a trick, it’s a treat!

Although the Target site has Target store coupons, they also have Manufacturers coupons mixed in. It’s a nice little surprise to see them hidden in there :)

I love the coupons! But NOT the surprise. It would be nice to know if it’s MQ or TQ before I print!

The link for the French Fried Onions Coupons also has a $1/4 Campbell’s Condensed Great for Cooking Soups. So happy to see a lot of Thanksgiving meal items in the mega event. I will be stocking up. Thanks for the match ups.

I love Turkey HIll Ice cream! And as far as I know, King Soopers is the only one that carries it. I’ve gotten it whenever it’s on sale, and it is soooo good!
