  1. Brittany says

Our City Market had the Food Should Taste Good bagged chips marked down to a dollar . . . normally priced at $3.99 . . we tried a few different flavors: cheddar (which were eaten by my 2 munchkins in the store), sweet potato, olive and multi grain.

  2. Keyva says

We receieved a .75/1 Franks Red Hot in today’s SS…so Kings has them on sale 10/$10 making these completely FREE!

  3. says

Free pomegranate fruit. 10 for 10 use ss 11/11 score free fruit. you can freeze these, spread seeds on tray and freeze for 2 hours then store them in container in freezer for later.

    • Kate says

I had to ask and he pointed me to a big box sitting by itself in produce in Broomfield, I saw the 2.49 ones last week and they were a little bigger than the $1 ones.

        • says

Well I went in today to get more $1 poms, yikes they were now marked $2.49. I asked the produce guy he said the $1 ones were old poms and they needed to get rid of them. So it was a manager’s special. He said they will go back to $1 as soon as the $2.49 start getting old. So I bought old poms.
          Sorry guys.

          • Hazel says

Quite alright, I’m glad you were able to score them – what a sweet deal! We can all do a POM cheer for them to go lower than $2.49

Rah Rah Ree — make those Poms be free!

  4. Sue says

I just found out today (from Kroger Krazy) that the 4.6oz Crest is on sale
thru 1/22 for $1 (less the 50cent doubled coupon P&G 12/30) makes it FREE!
I can add these to my FREE Colgate toothpaste & toothbrushes when I
make my next delivery to the Arvada Food Bank.
If anyone has an over-abundance of toothpaste or any other personal
care item PLEASE CONSIDER donating them to your local Food Bank.
    These items are always needed.

  5. Stephanie Bloomfield says

Our store had a cart full of hair products marked down. I used some coupons and picked up things up for under .20.

They also have grands biscuits 10/$10. With the .30/2 coupon that makes them .70 each!!

    • Dina says

Thanks Hazel. I’m in need of those!

Does anyone know what KS policy is on using a coupon on a free item? I looked but didn’t see it listed in the coupon policy like in the Safeway policy. Did I miss it? The sponges are on sale BOGO and so if I had a coupon for .75/2 would I need to buy 4 to use it?

  6. Nicole says

    Hidden Deal!!!

Mamma Bella Frozen Garlic Bread – Double Loaves in plain or parmesan
Reg. $4.99, Soopercard will take them to $2.49 (they were NOT marked at my store)
$.50/1 coupon in 1/13 SS make them only $1.49!!!
These are great to pop in the oven on spaghetti night!!! :)

    • Dina says

      My KS add also shows
      Hormel Chili with Beans 10/$10. There’s a $.55/2 coupon on coupons.com
Hamburger, Chicken or Tuna Helper 10/$10. There was a $.75/3 coupon in the 1/6 SS that had all the GM coupons.
Hunt’s Manwich 15oz 10/$10. There’s a .50/3 digital coupon avail to load to your card.
Hunts Tomatoes or Sauce $10/10. There’s also a .50/3 digital coupon avail for them.

  7. Dina says

My King Soopers had a whole bunch of makeup with 75% off stickers. Matching those with recent Maybelline and Covergirl coupons I got CG mascara and eyeliner for $0.07 and Maybelline mascara for $.84 and lipgloss for $.25! Disney gummies (60ct) were B1G1 at 7.39. With the 1.00/1 coupon from 1/6 RP they were 3.20 each. And French’s yellow mustard (8oz) and Frank’s red hot sauce were both 10/$10. With the coupons on French’s site they were only $.40 each! http://www.frenchs.com/promotions/coupon

  8. Sue says

I couldn’t find the Angel Soft bathroom tissue sale on your list.
A 4pk at $1.00 each less the 45cent doubled coupon
(RP 1/6 Healthy Starts Here) makes them 10cent each.

    • Hazel says

Whoa dawgies … I’m going to have to check that one out! Is it the 4 pack of double rolls that’s part of the 10fer?

      • Sue says

The ones I purchased were 4 REGULAR rolls of 2ply…NOW 2X STRONGER!
At 132 sheets per roll the package will disappear very quickly, so keep a spare
        handy at all times.

        • Nicole says

Just got these to donate – heading off to The Gathering Place in the morning with tons of freebies, so this was a nice addition! Thanks!

          • says

Yes, Dina is correct…although the rolls that are on sale for $1 say 2x, they are not double rolls. You would need to find a package that shoes the green “Double Roll” logo. The 2x just means that they are 2 ply instead of 1 ply.

  9. Anna says

    Hi!
I have a question about a $1 off catalina I received at Albertsons. It says MQ but also says redeem at Albertsons. The lady at my King Soopers wouldn’t even scan it. Can it be used anywhere as it is a MQ?

    • says

Unfortunately although Catalina coupons say “MQ” at the top…they will not be accepted at most stores. Safeway is the only store that has said they will accept them as long as they are off of a specific product (it is in their coupon policy). It’s confusing…I know. :)

  10. Hazel says

This is my purrrrrrrrrrfectly favorite time at King Soopers … it’s Purina Cat Food Catalina time!

    Purina Pet Products
    Spend $30-$39.99 in a single transaction and get a $5.00 cat, $40.00+ and get a $10.00 cat.

There are also a few varieties of cat foods on close out … I picked up some Friskies for $.22 a can and $.29 a can. Whiskas Trays from $.20 to $.47 a tray, selected flavors of course. But (shrug) anything tastes good when it sits on a Ritz! Golly, good cracker!

Those wee fuzzballs love seeing me haul a bazillion cans of cat food into the house. They made a feline fortress last time. Oh I wonder what they’ll create this time.

      • Sue says

Julie, you can check with your local Food Bank about donating pet food.
The Arvada Food Bank gladly accepts donations of that kind.
One of the volunteers told me that sometimes the clients choose
tuna so they can feed their cats.
Food Banks are a lot more than food…personal care items are
ALWAYS needed as well as cat food & cleaning products.

      • Hazel says

LOL Julie, I don’t have cats, I have 3 “masters”, haha.

The food pantry in town accepts pet items, so when there’s something on the cheap that I can’t give to my fuzzballs, I’ll take it there.

The Dumb Friends may accept food donations, too.

Our 4 legged friends need our help, too :)

    • Amy says

Ashley, it looks like it may be gone. It was appearing just like the Rogaine one except under the category with Neosporin. If anyone finds this to be different please let us know. I’m sorry :(

  11. Hazel says

Purina One Beyond Cat Food; 16-oz. Carton FREE up to $3.25 or $3.25/1 3-lb.+ bag

The price on the boxes at Castle Pines was $3.19 so FREE. The registerette lady last night just gave me the full $3.25 off. I know, I should have said something. Shamey on me.

Plus, the small bottles of Kens Salad Dressing are 5/$6.00 – $1.20 each. The Qs I got in Castle Rock were $1.00/1 (SS 01/13/13 R) so $.20 each. I didn’t check the tag to see when the sale ends so hopefully it will still be up for this cycle. (ginfers crossed) Such a great price on dressing and since it’s the small bottles, I picked up one of each so I could try and expand my salad dressing horizons :)

    • Teresa C says

I’m a huge fan of Ken’s salad dressings. My all time favorite is the Asian Sesame w Ginger & Soy. Amazing. Not even kidding. Simple slaw salads with chicken, cilantro, and this dressing = nom nom nom.

        • Hazel says

I’ve been in that store several times since then and I keep forgetting. I even wrote myself a note this morning and even though it was right there I forgot to check. Will be there again tomorrow so I’ll have to come up with another plan to remember.

          • Hazel says

Big YAY for Dina, whoop whoop. I’m so glad you were able to remember because I know I’d forget tomorrow morning. Now that we have the answer, I’m sure I’ll remember 100 times tomorrow morning at the store, lol!

      • Hazel says

Teresa, thank you … I used your slaw idea with a Lean Cuisine Salad Addition and it was awesome. Since I had some slaw mix left, I tossed in some chicken and mandarin oranges & used the Kens raspberry pecan vinaigrette and it was Slawsome! What a great idea using that slaw stuff instead of lettuce. Many thanks!

    • Sue says

I have been buying as many of these Purina Cat Food packages as I can.
I don’t have a cat…but many clients of the Arvada Food Bank do!
EVERY cashier has given me a credit of $3.25 after trying to put in the
actual price of $3.19. I guess there must be a glitch that will only accept
a cost of $3.25. So, Hazel, no need for any guilt.
Has anyone used more than one FREE coupon at a time for this? Some
cashiers get really stressed at handling the freebies, so I try to keep it
      real simple.

    • Amy says

Thanks for the heads up on all the deals and dates :) You guys are so awesome, what a great response we always get to these match-ups. You guys are like our inside deal finders lol And you’re so appreciated! :D

    • Dana says

My kings is super restrictive about using a coupon that has a logo from another store even if it’s a man. coupon. Just FYI!

      • Kristy says

I’ve used this coupon before, the only problem I’ve had is that is does not double for some reason. I’ve tried it more than once and had the same issue. When I asked the cashier about it I was told that only certain manufactures are on the list to double and it can change at anytime. I really think this was some crazy excuse, but I guess paying $.50 for deodorant is an okay price so I just left it at that.
