So, I’m new to this so sorry if this is a silly question…I wanted to take advantage of the Dove Hair Care deal listed towards the top. I went to my 9/30/12 Redplum to find the $1 MQ–but it’s not in there! Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
First of all, make sure you are buying the largest metropolitan paper for your area. Mine is the Denver Post.
Second, I don’t know why but there are different inserts for different areas. I tried ordering the Denver Post and on my first delivery I discovered that the insert with the coupons that I was anticipating and had planned for, were not in my paper. I thought maybe it was just an error and I drove to a local convenience store and they were in that one. So next I contacted Post where they told me that my ‘area’ was not scheduled to receive that insert. When you get your paper next week, you might want to go ahead and drop by a few newspaper suppliers in different areas around you, and then compare them to see which paper you will get the most out of. It could also be that the insert was incomplete and the carrier didn’t know when they put it in your paper. You might try calling your paper and asking for a new insert to be delivered. Good luck.
Thanks Sharon! My paper is the Post also, so it looks like my area just didn’t get that insert. How silly that different areas even within the metro area get different inserts. Ugh! Thank you…
I agree Melissa…it is rather silly. It doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does it can be frustrating.
I have had really good luck buying my papers at Dollar stores. It saves .50 on each paper and with a few exceptions the projected coupons are usually in the paper!

Question. Correct me if im wrong please. I did the dove transaction in 2 stores. I was afraid that i can only get 1 $2 up reward if i do the same transaction in one. also since i did the dove transaction, i paid $14 i want to get more and maybe pay $7 again total will be $21. So am i eligible to get the $5 saving star tho it is multiple transaction? can i use my daughter’s ad perk then use my up card? thanks
