10% Discount for Military at Albertsons Today?!?!

My friend Meghan pointed out to me on Twitter that Albersons has been reported to be offering a 10% discount to all military personnel active, reserve or retired today! Albertson's 12/16 - 12/24

Again, I thought there were some deals at Albertson’s this week that I just couldn’t pass up sharing with you all. They are doubling manufactured coupons again this week all will double up to $1.00 (example .25 with double to $1.00, .45 will double to $1.00 and so on).

Another interesting thing about Albertson’s is that I find good manufacture’s coupons in their ads and monthly publications (in stores). Keep an eye out for those because they don’t have any Albertson’s logos so they can be used at other stores. In this week’s ad on the 3rd page (?I think) there is a coupon for $3.00 off Butter Ball Fresh Whole Turkey or Whole Breast of Turkey expires 1/31/10.

Albertson's 12/9 - 12/15

I’ve wanted to mention a few really great deals at Albertsons this week, better late than never, right? We don’t usually do a breakdown for them but I just wanted to pass along some of the best deals.

Also, Albertsons doesn’t usually double coupons but they have been doing them from time to time lately. This week they are going to double and what is great about that is that everything doubles up to $1.00. For example I need powered sugar and I have a .30/1 coupon, usually that would just double to .60 but at Albertsons this week it will double to $1.00. So it is nice for those smaller amount coupons.

Grocery Store Deal Grading System

So we were trying to come up with a good way to "rate" grocery store deals since it can be hard to determine just what is a good price for those items that we actually have to pay for. ;) The best way I've seen it done was with a number system...so I thought we would try it with a grading system of A-F with the following definitions:

A: Amazing Deal! Stock up, stock up, stock up!
B: Good Deal
C: Ok deal, buy it if you need it
D: Hold off if you are able to
F: Don't waste your time
