Bargain Blessings

King Soopers: I did the Mega Event 4 times and stocked up on a bunch of cheese. I messed up a little because I was thinking that Sobe was included in the deal, but it isn't...so I had to throw in some extra Gatorade. That just goes to show you that no matter how long you've been couponing, there are always going to be mistakes! :) I spent $13.65 at King Soopers this week.

Safeway: Safeway went even better than I was expecting it to due to some eCoupons that I didn't know where on my card. I only spent $1.49 for three Mott's juices, 2 Jello Snacks, 1 Yoplait Delights, 6 Nivea Lip Balm, and some grapes! Yipee!

Walgreens: I snagged two of the shoe insoles and two of the Skin Erasers. I made a total of $2.15.

I messed up a little in the video explaining what I got from which store...the blueberries were from King Soopers and the Strawberries were from Safeway! Not a bad week for me! How did you do this week?

Rite Aid: I will have made $1.03 once I receive my Single Check Rebates Back.

Safeway: Spent $3.47 on four boxes of granola bars, nut clusters, 15 cups of FAGE yogurt and 2lbs of Strawberries!

King Soopers: Spent $13.86 on 4 pizzas, soaftsoap, 6 tubes of Aquafresh, 2 Suave deodorants, one loaf of bread, sandwich thins, four bags of potaotes, and 5lbs of Blueberries!

Oh my goodness...I was exhausted when I shot this video and it so shows! The other thing that shows is my disaster of a kitchen...embarrassing! Well, if anyone had me on any sort of a pedestal, you now know that struggle in all the areas others do! :) Speaking of not being even close to perfect...I just realized that I let two huge packages of uncooked chicken sit in my refrigerator for two weeks! UGH! I had been meaning to split it up and freeze it, but just kept putting it off and putting it off. Now I know better!

I spent a little more than usual this week due to taking last week off and having four guests staying with us. I'm pleased that I was able to stock up on both chicken and beef. Both of which are already split up and safely tucked away in my freezer! Here is how I did this week:

Rite Aid: I will have made $22.99 after I get my Single Check Rebate and my Neutrogena rebate back.

Albertsons: Stocked up on around 17lbs of ground beef for $31.28

Safeway: Spent $5.05

Walmart: Spent .28

King Soopers: Spent $17.37

Sunflower Market: Spent $13 on lots of chicken, green beans and tomatoes

This week's dinner menu includes Tacos, Whole Chicken, Hot Taco Dip, Chicken Legs on the grill, and spaghetti.

Sunflower Market: In addition to all of the items I scored at the Grand Opening, I also stocked up on three huge packs of Chicken Breast (not in the video) and some grapes. I spent a total of $17.09 at Sunflower this week.

Walgreens: I made a total of $5.27

Rite Aid: $18.09 Money Maker! Yay!

Safeway: Only .44...one of my Goldfish eCoupons didn't deduct, so if I'm able to get refunded for that I'll get that down just a little more!

Sorry, I know I'm a little late getting this posted...but it has been a crazy couple of days. Better late than never!
I didn’t do a whole lot of shopping this week, but still was able to hit up some of the better deals. I shopped at King Soopers, Sunflower Market, and Walgreens this week. Here is how I did:

King Soopers: I bought butter, milk, and toothbrushes and spent a grand total of .96! I made some money in my first transaction by buying (4) Reach toothbrushes for $1.25 each, using (2) $2/2 IPs, paying $1 and getting a $4 Catalina back. I then used that $4 catalina to pay for my second transaction.

Walgreens: Stocked up on Reach toothbrushes, snagged the money making razor and the rest were fillers. Once I get my rebate I will have made $7.53

Sunflower Market: Spent $6.47. We splurged on our favorite popsicles!

King Soopers: I bought Kroger Lasagna, (2) Kraft Marshmallows, Ricotta Cheese, Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes (won these in the Spring into Summer game), (6) Jello Puddings, (2) Kraft Shredded Cheese, (2) Kraft Singles (I’ve had a thing for grilled cheese lately!), and (2) Boulder Chips. I spent a total of $18 at King Soopers this week. But if you include my pharmacy credit I didn’t pay anything! I will still include my $18 in my totals below.

Safeway: My very kind store manager was nice enough to let me use my Bull’s Eye BBQ Sauce coupons even though they didn’t carry the participating kinds! Score! I only spent .94 at Safeway and stocked up on Zone bars, cream cheese, pretzels, Rolaids, Pickles, and a few other items!

Sunflower Market: I got cilantro, tomatoes, and a lime (for homemade salsa, yummy!), two organic loaves of bread, and four pears. I spend a total of $11.86 after my coupons for the bread.

Rite Aid: I made $3.36! WhooHoo!

Walgreens: I got six Neutrogena Bars, used the Safeway booklet coupons and made a total of $13.56!

Pet Smart: I ended up making $3 on six bags of dog treats that I put towards other items!

All-in-all I only spent $13.88 on everything! Not a bad week at all!

I decided to do my grocery shopping on Monday instead of Sunday this week...so sorry for the late video. Again, I will give you the rundown on the Rite Aid deal as soon as I confirm it is working properly.

Update: Sorry everyone, I just noticed that the coupons I used for the RA scenairo expired on Monday, so I will not be posting more details.

I hope you all have had a fabulous weekend! The weather was beautiful here in Colorado. Needless to say, I didn’t have much of a desire to sit in front of the computer. I did, however, make it out to a few stores. As you see below, I spent a lot more than normal this week, but I was able to stock up on a bunch of meat that will keep us going through the next month or so! I used two rain checks at Safeway to get the chickens and the ground beef.

Phew, it was quite the week in the grocery world. Hubbie and I decided to get a little creative with the picture as you can see. Here is how I did:

King Soopers: I had a rain-check for the Smart Balance eggs, so those were all FREE! Guess we will be eating a lot of eggs during the next two weeks! I also got a bunch of Cover Girl Nail Polish (a bit of a splurge at .70 each) and Shaving Cream as part of the P&G promo. my store didn't stock the Old Spice, so I missed out on that deal. I also got some Tostios chips to go with our Hot Taco Dip tonight and a gallon of milk, carrots and a parsnip that were not included in the picture. I spent a total of $19.63 at King Soopers.

Sprouts: I we really impressed with the weekend deals at Sprouts! I got 3lbs of Granola for $3, 3 bottles of coconut nectar, 10lbs of potatoes, and 3 pineapples for $11!

Sunflower: I stocked up on a bunch of grapefruit for $1.40!


Safeway: Yeah, about Safeway...so what happened is I printed off all the coupons I could from our two computers and pulled out all my blinkies that I had left over from the last big cereal promotion at King Soopers. When I got to the store I grouped all my coupons into my separate transactions and realized that I would need to do 15 transactions to use all my coupons...what to do, what to do. Just then, my favorite store manager walked by and I checked with him to see if there would be any issues doing that many transactions. He had no problem, so off I went to grab another cart to load up. Now, before anyone bites my head off...yes, I will be donating almost all of this cereal, and no I didn't clear the shelves...there was lots and lots left for everyone else. Normally I'd say that 60 boxes of cereal is just a tad excessive, but I figure, if I can get it for FREE and help others with it...why let the coupons go to waste? The manager was so kind to load it all up in gigantic trash bags and help me pile it in my car. I also got 6 boxes of granola bars, four bags of Wacky- Mac, and an Ace Bandage. After all was said and done I made $4.01.

Meee!!! :) Every time I watch one of these videos after making it all I can say is WOW, I'm such a dork! But, hey...it's me and I'm having fun rockin' the deals, so why not share the fun?!? This week I shopped at Rite Aid, Walgreens, Safeway, and King Soopers. Here is how I did!

Rite Aid: I spent a total of $12.68 after I get my Single Check Rebates Back! not bad considering one of the items I got was a $45 Kit of Crest WhiteStrips!

Walgreens: I spent a total of $1.30!

Safeway: I made out the best at Safeway this week by making $5.31! Whooo Hoo!

King Soopers: Spent a total of $8.63
