I have a quick question about the Zevia coupon; it says that it is limited one coupon per consumer per purchase. Does this mean that I can only use one per transaction or is it just one per product purchased? I just think it’s an odd way of wording the limits. o.o

  2. Dina says

I called my store since I was hoping the sale included the ground sausage. I was told that in fact the wrong picture was used in the add and it was only the ground sausage that was on sale. When I went they had signs posted on the meat case about it as well. I love the ground italian pork sausage so just stocked up. The chicken italian and breakfast sausage was on sale as well so I tried some of both of them too. :)

  3. Kristy says

My store only had the bulk sausage. I asked about the picture of links and they said the bulk was too ugly to picture. Oh well. I still bought some of the hot Italian and sweet Italian. Making lasagna and inside out stuffed peppers. Doubled both and plan to freeze 3 meals and enjoy one tonight. If everyone loves it, I may go get more too! I was told to watch for the links on sale during the summer months.

  4. Dawn says

I was a bit bummed today as I went to pick up my chicken sausage….I thought they were the links, but the butcher told me only the bulk “unformed” sausage was on sale…major bummer, as it looks like in the circular the links were also on sale…I think only two varieties were on sale, the spicy bulk and regular type…. :(

    • Amy says

That is so interesting Dawn… when I went today I was totally looking for the links. Then I saw the “unformed” (not even sure what that means) but it looks just like ground chicken with seasoning. I just assumed that must have been what everyone was talking about so I bought a ton. And honestly, I am SO glad I did. I made the sweet italian variety they had tonight for dinner and it was seriously so fantastic I am gonna go back for more. It cooked up just like ground beef would so I will probably be adding it to lots of things as a substitute. My sister said she only saw the links on sale for $1.99/lb when she went but it was the same store as the one I hit so I’m not sure if both are on sale?

  5. Sarah R says

I noticed the Zevia at the Thornton Colorado store is 4.99. Am I missing something? I thought all their stores had the same pricing.

    • Amy says

Sarah, the sales in the ads are usually store wide but sometimes vary. Did you happen to ask anyone? I know that there have been multiple times that something is one sale and it’s not priced that way. I have had to find someone, show them the ad and then they change it. HTH :)

  6. Kristy says

My family loves them especially my 2 year old. We like all of them! It has been awhile since I bought them but I think apple and basil varieties topped the list. The hot is spicy, so I make just for my hubby and I. Meals… Chop up some veggies and fruit and sauté with the cooked sausage. Serve on quinoa or couccous and maybe throw some feta or blue cheese on top. Yum!

  7. Dawn says

They have a basil chicken sausage that is great! I think with it being chicken, there may be a tendency for them to be a little dry….I use them as part of a pasta sauce. The apple variety is very good too!

    • Amy says

Thanks so much for the tip Dawn! I make pasta sauce frequently so I will stock up and do just that! Really appreciate the help :)

    • Amy says

Yay! I haven’t tried theirs yet. Do you like it? If so, I may have to take your word and stock up a bit :) Any meal ideas you use them for?

      • Jessica says

They have a green chili chilcken sausage that I use in my chili. I also recommend the apple sausage for breakfast entrees.

        • Amy says

Thanks for the suggestions :) I am still debating the chili one lol but will definitely do the apple sausage since it sounds like a big hit!
