Many of you will be happy to know that Walmart has announced that they will be price matching other store’s Black Friday deals! Here are the details from their press release: [3]
Walmart is kicking off three days of savings, typically reserved only for the Friday After Thanksgiving, on this seasons’ must-have holiday gifts, including the strongest “price match” guarantee in the market. In fact, Walmart is one of the only retailers that will price match competitors’ ads on “Black Friday.” Customers simply bring in competitors’ ads and Walmart will match the price of any identical product right at the register, making Walmart the easiest place to save this holiday season.
The key to price matching is finding the “identical product”. Many times retailers will feature products or packages that were specifically created for their store just to prevent you from price-matching the deal at other stores. As always, I suggest doing your research to determine of Walmart caries the exact same product.
