Rite Aid is a great store to snag lots of fun freebies! If you are new to Rite Aid shopping, this 101 post should help to get you started. As always, please feel free to leave a comment if you have questions on any of this.
Single Check Rebates
Rite Aid’s Single Check Rebate (SCR) program is an awesome way to save lots of money and score some freebies! Single Check Rebates, are just that…rebates. Just like your typical mail-in-rebate, you buy a participating product and get a rebate in return. The great part about the Single Check Rebate program is that you can submit everything on the Rite Aid website, so there are no stamps, envelopes, receipt copies etc. involved!
Each month, Rite Aid releases a new set of Single Check Rebates. Most of the time rebates are only good for one week but sometimes they are good for the whole month. There are usually hundreds of Single Check Rebates available. Most of these rebates have a limit of one per household. There are many cases when an item will be FREE after a Single Check Rebate and if you have a coupon to go on top of that Single Check Rebate Deal you can even make money!
To sign-up for the Rite Aid Single Check Rebate Program, go HERE. Once you are signed up, you will be ready to submit your Single Check Rebate receipts. I suggest that you enter your receipts once you get home from the store or soon after. After you enter your receipts you will see the SCRs that you are eligible for within a few days. One thing that you’ll need to remember is to not click to submit for that month’s rebates until the end of the month! This is very important because if you submit early, you will not be able to do any other Single Check Rebate deals for the rest of the month. If you forget to click the submit button at the end of the month, don’t worry…Rite Aid will do it for you. 😉
Rite Aid wellness+ Program
Rite Aid now has a shopper’s card savings program called wellness+. wellness+ members receive a variety of benefits including special money saving coupons, 10% off Rite Aid brand products, 24/7 exclusive access to a pharmacist when you all 1-800-RiteAid, members only sale pricing throughout the store, plus more! Go HERE to sing-up for the Rite Aid Wellness+ program and your membership card will be mailed to you, or sign-up in any store and they will give you your membership card right there.
wellness+ members are eligible to participate in Rite Aid’s +UP Reward program. Rite Aid +UP Rewards are essentially coupons that can be used on almost anything in the store on your next purchase. They print out on the bottom of your receipt after you buy a participating product(s) with your wellness+ card. Most +UP rewards have a limit of one reward per wellness+ card, but occasionally we will see +UP reward deals that have a higher limit or even no limit.
Make sure to remember to hand over your wellness+ card before any of the +UP participating products that you are purchasing are scanned.
There is no limit to the number of +UP rewards that can be earned (from different items) in a single transaction. There is also no limit to the number of +UP rewards that you can use in one transaction, as long as your pre-tax total does not go negative. You must use the entire +UP reward in the transaction. For example, you cannot use just $2 off a $4 +UP reward…you have to use all $4.
Rite Aid $5 off $25 and other Total Purchase Coupons
Rite Aid occasionally has various $5 off $25 or $4 off $20 Coupons that make their already great deals even better. These coupons can be used in conjunction with manufacturer coupons, +UP Rewards, Rite Aid Store coupons, and Single Check Rebates! Your total only needs to be over $25 (or the amount of the $ off coupon) before coupons, so make sure to give these coupons to the cashier first. If you are buying $25 worth of items that are free after SCRs your transaction will automatically become a $5 money maker! There is a limit to one of these coupons per transaction, so you will want to make it your goal to break your transactions up so that they are just over the amount that the coupon requires.
Video Values Program
Rite Aid also has a fantastic Video Values program where shoppers can watch short promotional videos to earn Rite Aid store coupons. These coupons are great because they can be combined with manufacturer coupons to make for some really sweet deals. Once you have earned 20 video credits sometimes they will also give you a bonus $5 off $20 Rite Aid coupon! New Video Values coupons are released every month. There is a print limit of one for each of the coupons you earn. Go HERE to check out all of the Video Values Coupons that are currently available.
Rite Aid’s Coupon Policy
Rite Aid has one of the best coupon policies out there. It is very specific and will come in handy in the store should any questions come up, so make sure to print it out and bring it with you!
