If you got in on the Free Photo Dog Leash from Snapfish earlier this week, you likely got an e-mail this morning telling you that due to “depleted inventory” your order has been canceled an you will now be able to get a free photo mug ($9.99 value rather than the $19.99 value that was on the dog leash). From the number of people who are reporting to have received this e-mail, it seems like this e-mail was sent to everyone who ordered the leash. This is very disappointing and rather deceptive in my option.
The other catch on this is that you will not have to pay shipping if you want to get your “free” photo mug. It is very disappointing that Snapfish decided to wait until right after the free shipping code expired to cancel all the orders. Here are some options for you:
1. Contact Snapfish and let them know you would like to purchase an item that is the same value of the leash ($19.99) and you would like Free shipping, because that it what the original order had. You can do this by using Snapfish’s Live Chat on their website. You can get to the live chat by logging in to your account and then going to help (top right corner). Then to to the contact us section and you will see live chat on the right side in blue.
