Hello… I am completely new to computer stuffs… emails I can do, but the website is taking me a while to learn and navigate (I’m techno-illiterate!). It is a wonderful website from what I’ve learned so far; thank you so much for this resource and your efforts!

I do have one particular question… I see that you sort all ‘deals’ by store (e.g. what is on sale that week, etc.). Do you have or know of a way that I can get, say, the “best” deal on specific items, and/or a list of ALL the “A” deals regardless of store? Oh my, I’d appreciate any help you could give! Thank you… J— :-)

Hi Jennie,
I saw the post earlier this week for 25%off holiday decor at The Home Depot. We’ll I was hesitant on which tree to order (debating between 9′ or 10′), now that I’ve decided the promo code seems to no longer be valid… :(
Wondering if you are aware of any upcoming deals or codes on Christmas Trees?

Thanks so much for all you do!

Wasn’t sure if you had reported the Starbucks coffee deal at Target.
The bags of coffe are on sale for 6.99. If you buy 3 you get a free Starbucks cup. Inside that cup is a package of 5 different additional coupons to use on Starbucks products, free drinks, etc.
Plus, I used a $2.00 off 2 bag coupon.

Hi Kim~ You can view that deal and more great Target deals in this week’s Target match-ups. :) http://www.bargainblessings.com/coupon-matchups/target/

Hi, was wondering if you have seen the Kroger deal for kcups online recently, for week of 12/8? Is that Kroger only or will that same deal hit king soopers soon? Thanks, Darlene

Hello – I recently came across your website. I also love to coupon and save money where ever I can.

I noticed that you have post deals from Avon in the past. Do you use a particular Rep or do you simply post the deals as you find them?

I would love to send you Avon deal form time to time. I have been selling Avon for 4 years.

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!

I am glad that I am not the only one with this problem. It seems that things are only getting harder to save money. I try to be frugal with our money. Where do we go from here? I want to do better than I do and stretch the money further and still be able to save a little. Everything is getting so expensive and I don’t think that is going to change. Any ideas?

My mumz has the same problem in a small town in Iowa. At her age, she only heads to the “big city” once a month. Seems the local grocers kind of hold the townsfolk captive in their coupon policies and pricing. They had a good deal on peanut butter last year, once. Store sold completely out – no rainchecks. Mumz loves to hear about my scores but it’s not the same as if she was able to do it herself :(

She even told me that a group was going to hold a coupon class & charge a hefty price to attend, but, they’d give you a “kit”. (What’s in the kit, an insert?) That irked me since you’ve taught us the ethical / pay it forward side of things. I told her I’d be more than happy to teach the little I know next time I visited – no charge! Harumph.

No local blog. I have searched and searched and have not been able to find one.

Reply

22 Sarah January 3, 2012 at 7:52 AM

Yes at the grocery store. We do not have a double couponing store. Locally Dollar General Market and Food Lion. I can go to Walmart (about 30 min.), but I feel that couponing there does not always benefit me. Plus when you go to Walmart you end up getting more than you need or want.

Reply

23 Jennie January 3, 2012 at 7:59 AM

Are you using a loacl blog for coupon match-ups for Food Lion? I agree with you on Walmart by the way…it is not a very fun store to coupon at in my opinion. ;)

Hi Jennie! I am pleased with your website! It excited me to know first and formost that you are a born again Christian! I have recently started couponing and I am not doing so well. I live in a small town in Virginia and couponing is hard here. I feel like it doesn’t do anygood sometimes. Just wondering if you have any pointers for me? God Bless!

Hello Jennie it was a joy to read your website, particularly the faith aspect of your work I started my own coupon blog but had started to doubt its implications on faith and compatibility with the teachings of Christ but lo finding your blog has enthused me to go on. I also write a few blogs on issues of faith. Be blessed and may He who has begun a great work in you bring it to completion. Thanks.

Jennie,
I was reading about this weeks Rite Aid deals and accidently hit the About tab. It was a blessing to read your testimony. God bless you for putting it out there for people to read. To God be the glory for all the savings He gives our family with coupons. You are now going in my favorites folder.
God Bless you and thank you for the Rite Aid break down.

What a great resource! I’m a teacher in Aurora, and while I’m grateful to have not been cut in the widespread budget cuts, our belts haven’t been this tight in a long time. I’m new to couponing, and though I can’t imagine a scenario where I’d stock up on dozens of boxes of anything like I see on the TV show, I am encouraged that I can likely save some money by shopping smart. Thanks for all of your hard work with this — I can only imagine the time it takes you!

Hi Jennie, I wanted to tell you a couple of things we did to save some money. I called Comcast when the bill wasn’t due, and I asked if they could take my bill down. Right away the lady gave me a cheaper rate on both my services! And another thing we did was we called our car loan company and asked if they could ‘modify’ the loan so we have no payments for 4 months. (We are caught up on our loan and have never been behind on any payments so Im sure this made a difference, but this really helped us right now.) I just wanted to pass this on. :)

I love your website! I also appreciate seeing the Prov. 31 woman as I travel thru it.
If possible, would you answer some questions for me? I’m attempting to provide similar info for franchishes in Milwaukee that have different ads (but the same name!) Mine is a newly empty nest view and transitioning … using freebies to surprise college children & those on their own. I’d be grateful to have you bless me with some answers.

Hey,
Blessings to you, I love your site… very helpful for us fruGALS!

Can anyone tell me if they know TARGETs clearancing system? ie: 30% off for ?days, then 50% off… then 75% off??? There are some things I’m watching, but don’t want to have to run in there all the time, that costs me money because I can never get out of there empty handed!

Reply

39 Bill S April 16, 2011 at 10:22 AM

Hi Jody,
I work at Target and usually clearance is a progressive discount which occurs over weeks. Each store manages it’s own clearance away from corporate. Each week clearance items are evaluated based on sales and available shelf space. Non-seasonal items may start at 30%, then progress each week or so to 70% and are usaully created because of oversotck or poor selling items. Unfortunately clearance items have no price guarrantee so you can’t demand a refund at guest services. Regarding seasonal items, the discount progression can occur quicker once again based on shelf space. As far a monitoring clearance “from “home”, all I could suggest is networking with your fellow Target shoppers and asking them to watchdog the items you want most when they shop themselves. Good luck!
